Effects Of Tenebrio Molitor Meal On Growth Performance,Slaughter Performance,serum Parameters And Meat Quality Of Broilers | | Posted on:2023-03-28 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:L N Wu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2543307022488164 | Subject:Agriculture | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The purpose of this experiment was to study the effects of Tenebrio molitor meal on growth performance,slaughter performance,serum parameters,conventional meat quality,muscle fiber characteristics and flavor content of Liangfenghua broilers.In the experiment,600 1-day-old Liangfenghua broilers were randomly divided into 5 groups,with 5 replicates in each group,and 24 chickens in each replicate.The control group was fed the basal diet,and the experimental group was fed with 3% and 5%,7% and 9% of Tenebrio molitor meal were used to replace part of soybean meal in the basal diet,and the experimental period was 70 days.The results showed:(1)In terms of growth performance,the average daily feed intake of 3% and 5% Tenebrio molitor meal-added groups at 1-28 days of age was significantly higher than that of the control group,7% and 9%Tenebrio molitor meal-added groups(P<0.01).The average body weight at the age of 70 days in the 3%addition group was significantly or extremely significantly higher than that in the control group and other addition level groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01),and the 5% addition group was extremely significantly higher than the 7% addition group(P<0.01).Significantly higher than the 9% addition group(P<0.05);the 28-day average body weight of the 9% addition group was extremely significantly lower than that of the control group and the rest of the addition level groups(P<0.01).The average daily weight gain at 29-70 days of age in the 3% supplement group was extremely significantly higher than that in the control group and other supplement level groups(P<0.01),and the 5% and 9% supplement groups were extremely significantly higher than the 7% supplement group(P<0.01).;The average daily gain of 1-70 days in the 3% addition group was significantly or extremely significantly higher than that in the control group and the rest of the addition level groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01),and the 5% addition group was significantly or extremely significantly higher than those in the 7% and 7% addition groups.The 9% supplemented group(P<0.05 or P<0.01);the 9% supplemented group’s average daily weight gain at 1-28 days of age was significantly lower than that of the control group and other supplemented level groups(P<0.01).The feed-to-weight ratio at the age of 29-70 days in the 7% supplement group was significantly higher than that of 3% and 5%The addition group(P<0.05);the 9% addition group was significantly higher than the control group and each addition level group at 1-28 days of age(P<0.01).No significant difference in other indicators.(2)In terms of slaughter performance,Compared with the control group,there was no significant difference in each slaughter performance index in the group supplemented with different levels of Tenebrio molitor meal(P>0.05).(3)In terms of serum parameters,the 3% addition group significantly increased the level of growth hormone in broilers(P<0.05),and there were no significant differences in other growth hormone indicators and immune indicators(P>0.05).(4)In terms of conventional meat quality,the drip loss rate(24 h)of leg muscles in the 3% and 5%addition groups were significantly lower than those in the control and 9% addition groups(P<0.05).(5)In terms of muscle fiber characteristics,there was no significant difference between each supplement level group and the control group(P>0.05).(6)In terms of flavor substances,compared with the control group,the content of Asp,Thr,serine,Glu,Leu,Tyr,Arg and the total amount of Flavor amino acids,the total amount of Sweet amino acids,the total Fresh amino acids,total Aromatic amino acids,EAA and TAA in the 3% Tenebrio molitor meal added group were significantly or extremely significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01),and the histidine content was extremely significantly lower than the control group(P<0.01);The content of myristic acid(C14:0)in 3% Tenebrio molitor meal group increased significantly(P<0.05).To sum up,adding 3% Tenebrio molitor meal to Liangfenghua broiler diet can improve the growth performance of broilers,improve the growth hormone level of broilers,improve the water retention performance of muscles,and enhance the nutritional value and flavor of broiler muscles,and Aromatic properties,reducing undesired flavor levels in the muscle,thereby improving its meat quality.It is suggested that the optimum addition amount of Tenebrio molitor meal in the diet of 1-70-day-old Liangfenghua broilers is 3%. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Tenebrio molitor meal, broiler, growth performance, slaughter performance, serum parameters, meat quality | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
