As the ancestor species of cultivated rice,wild rice contains many excellent genes that cultivated rice does not have or has been lost,so it is a valuable gene pool.Although Yunnan is a concentrated distribution area of wild rice in China,which is particularly rich in wild rice resources,so far,there are few studies on the characteristics and understanding of morphological characteristics of wild rice,which restricts the protection,exploitation,and utilization of wild rice.Therefore,it is very necessary to investigate and determine the characters and morphology of wild rice,and further establish its database in order to lay a foundation for the exploration,utilization and sharing of resources.In this paper,23 characters of 1232 representative materials of wild rice collected by the Institute of Biology of Yunnan Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences,biotechnology and Germplasm Resources Research Institute were investigated and analyzed.The results show that Yunnan wild rice is rich in genetic diversity.Ecological factors have an important influence on the degree and distribution of genetic diversity of wild rice.The best ex situ conservation site should be selected as far as possible according to the habitat of each kind of wild rice.When sampling from the original habitat to the ex-situ protection point,it is necessary to avoid the blindness of collection and reduce damage to the original habitat.108 wild rice samples were clustered and analyzed according to their species.The results showed that there were some similarities and differences among different individuals of O.rufipogon Griff,and there was geographical isolation among populations of O.officinalis Wall.O.granulata Baill in Pu’er area is alone in a small branch,and at the same time,it is in a large group with other populations,while the population clustering relationship from other areas is more chaotic and has no certain regularity.Combined with the geographical location of Pu’er area,it can be inferred that O.granulata Baill in Pu’er area is the origin center of Yunnan O.granulata Baill.O.granulata Baill of the other populations spread and developed from this population.This article also completed the construction of the Yunnan Wild Rice Germplasm Resources and Morphology Database framework,and standardized the data of wild rice.The resource data was manually input into the Yunnan Wild Rice Database,and was developed using ASP.NET.MVC on the Windows SERVER2012R2 operating system,running under IIS8.0,and using MySQL 5.6 version of the database.This database collects the basic information of 1232 Yunnan wild rice samples and 23 trait data of 108 wild rice samples collected by the Biology Institute of Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences,providing a basic guarantee for the further utilization of wild rice and a platform for germplasm resource data sharing and exchange for researchers in wild rice.
