Jiaodong Peninsula is an important part of the blue economic zone of Shandong Peninsula.In recent years,driven by "blue",its tourism economy is also booming.Jiaodong Peninsula is surrounded by the sea on three sides,with superior natural and geographical environment and many tourism resources.Recently,the development of global tourism has been integrated into the overall pattern of economic and social development in Shandong Province,and all localities are making every effort to create global tourism demonstration areas.Under the call of favorable policies,Jiaodong Peninsula attracts many tourists at home and abroad with its unique advantages.In the favorable situation of opening to the outside world,the tourism economy is also soaring,and more and more foreigners come to China for sightseeing.Therefore,in order to make foreign tourists have a good experience and a deeper understanding of Chinese culture,the importance of tourism translation is self-evident.Its quality is directly related to China’s economic development and even China’s international image.This thesis selects part of the book of Discovering China-Shandong as the translation corpus and deeply analyzes the translation strategy in the tourism text under the guidance of the Prof.Huang Zhonglian’s translation variation theory.This study is divided into six parts.The first part introduces the background and significance of the report in detail;The second part makes a clear explanation of the types and language features of tourism texts;The third part gives a detailed introduction to the theory of translation variation,and makes a strong explanation of the applicability of the theory of translation variation to the translation of tourism texts;The fourth part introduces the problems encountered in translation studies from the perspectives of language,culture and aesthetics,and gives the corresponding solutions.In the fifth part,three strategies of addition,reduction and reorganizing are adopted to change the translation.In order to make the application of each strategy more detailed,this study also classifies each strategy in detail,in order to make the text and theory more flexible.The last part introduces the harvest in the research process from the aspects of theory and practice.Let "tourism translation" become a medium to communicate with domestic scenic spots and foreign tourists,let Chinese scenic spots "go out",and drive the development of national "tourism economy".
