Research On The Preparatory Textbook "Comprehensive Chinese Course For Liberal Arts Majors

With the continuous promotion of high-quality "One Belt and One Road",the number of international students in China is increasing,and preparatory education is also facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges.However,there are not many researches on Chinese textbooks for preparatory major.In this paper,data statistics,comparative analysis and induction analysis are used to study the Chinese textbook for preparatory majors from the aspects of vocabulary,language points,texts and exercises,to evaluate the compilation of the textbook and give corresponding suggestions on its use.It is found that there are a large number of vocabularies in the textbook,a large number of optional module vocabularies,and a reasonable proportion of general words and professional terms.Language points are evenly distributed in each unit,mainly in written style,which can meet students’ needs for professional text reading.There are many kinds of themes and topics in the text,and the choice of function points is mainly students’ daily expression.The variety of exercises is rich,close to the preparatory examination,pertinence is strong.However,the vocabulary lacks Chinese annotation,and the selection criteria of professional terms are not clear;The explanation of language points is relatively simple;The text content is not enough life,not conducive to students to learn the expression of daily life;The arrangement of exercises is more patterned,and the situational exercises are less.This paper also provides some suggestions for students and teachers who use this set of textbooks,hoping to provide reference for teachers and students who use the textbooks.
