The existence of Chinese polysemy is a manifestation of the diversification of Chinese meanings.Polysemy is ubiquitous in the process of Chinese learning,and the learning of Chinese polysemy is an inevitable priority for Chinese scholars.This paper takes modern Chinese polysemy "Yisi" as the research object,and analyzes the development and evolution of the meaning of Yisi" from the diachronic point of view,and the semantic and pragmatic functions of the fixed structures of "Yisi".On this basis,this paper discusses the strategies of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,in order to provide a new perspective and thinking for the Chinese teaching of polysemy.The thesis is divided into four parts except introduction and conclusion.The first part explores the development and evolution of Chinese polysemous word meaning from the perspective of diachronic,which is divided into three periods,namely the Six Dynasties to the Song Dynasty,Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties and modern times,and summarizes the characteristics of the development of the meaning of each period.The second part summarizes the fixed structure of polysemous ""Yisi" in combination with literature and corpus on the basis of diachronic analysis and makes corresponding semantic and pragmatic analysis.Its fixed structure includes ""Yisi+X","X+ "Yisi" and so on.The third part investigates the situation of Chinese polysemous "Yisi" in representative Chinese textbooks,including the arrangement of "Yisi" in Chinese textbooks,the annotation of "Yisi" in Chinese textbooks,and the practice setting of "Yisi" in Chinese textbooks.In the fourth part,various types of errors are analyzed and the causes of errors are classified through the theory of error analysis and a large number of corpus.In the fifth part,according to the ontology significance study of "Yisi" and the bias of "Yisi" used by international students,combined with the relevant theoretical achievements of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and teachers ’experience,some universal teaching and learning suggestions are put forward from the three aspects of teaching materials,teachers’ teaching and students’ learning,expecting to provide new perspectives and ideas for the future teaching of "Yisi" and other polysemy words.
