| "Giving" verbs are a kind of verbs with characteristics in modern Chinese,which involve three semantic roles : agent,patient and dative in syntactic structure.There are also different ways when the mandatory semantic components of different verbs are reflected as syntactic components,and different "giving" sentence patterns are formed through pragmatic changes such as omission,displacement and transformation.The differences in sentence patterns actually reflect different functional requirements.These changes are not small obstacles for foreign students.The research of this paper mainly includes six parts.The first part introduces the research object,research background,research methods,corpus sources,research review and so on.The second part analyzes the semantic features of "giving" verbs,summarizes the semantic attributes of "giving" verbs,classifies verbs according to semantic attributes,and discusses the selection of semantic components by "giving" verbs.The third part analyzes the syntactic configuration of "giving" verbs in combination with the characteristics of "giving" events,examines the expression form and sentence meaning of each "giving" sentence pattern,and summarizes the distribution of "giving" verbs in the "giving" sentence pattern.The fourth part summarizes the types of errors in the study of "giving" verbs by foreign students,and analyzes various factors of errors according to the types of errors.The fifth part puts forward the teaching suggestions according to the error analysis of the "giving" verb,and puts forward the corresponding teaching methods according to the characteristics of the verb and the students’ learning situation.The sixth part summarizes the research situation of the thesis. |
