Chinese culture is extensive and profound.With the enhancement of China's global influence,the role of cultural teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is becoming more and more important,which has attracted more and more attention from participants.And the long-standing Spring Festival culture has become an important content for foreign students to understand and learn Chinese culture.Situational teaching method,as a teaching method,can fully arouse the interest of learners and improve their learning effect by creating specific situations.If it is applied to the cultural teaching of Chinese New Year as a foreign language,it can enable students to learn in situations and experience,and achieve a good effect of teaching in pleasure.At present,the research on the combination of the two is still insufficient.This paper attempts to combine the situational teaching method with the cultural teaching of Chinese New Year as a foreign language,in order to provide some reference and exploration for the application of situational teaching method in the cultural teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.The introduction part of the paper clarifies the reasons,objectives and significance of the research,as well as the research ideas and methods.Based on the analysis of the relevant literature,it summarizes the research status and Inspiration of the Spring Festival culture and situational teaching method.The first chapter briefly combs the role of Spring Festival culture in promoting cross-cultural communication and learning effectiveness of foreign students,and discusses that the analysis of Spring Festival culture has become an important part and key link in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.In the second chapter,through the questionnaires on the understanding of the Spring Festival culture of the international students of Henan University,we can understand the attitude of the foreign students towards the Spring Festival culture and the current situation of the teaching of the Spring Festival culture,so as to lay a good foundation for the determination of appropriate teaching content and methods.Chapter three discusses the necessity and feasibility of applying Situational Method to the cultural teaching of Chinese New Year as a foreign language from the relevant levels,in order to clarify the ideas for the following teaching design.Chapter IV focuses on the application of situational approach to the cultural teaching of Chinese New Year as a foreign language.It specifically analyses the relevant contents of teaching content,teaching objects,teaching objectives,teaching principles and teaching methods,and carries out a cultural teaching of Chinese New Year as a foreign language from the perspective of situational approach on the basis of physical creation scenario,multimedia creation scenario,teacher guidance creation scenario and practice interaction creation scenario.Design.The fifth chapter evaluates and reflects on the effect of instructional design through questionnaires and after-class interviews,and puts forward suggestions for instructional design.The concluding part summarizes the results of this study,and gives a clearer idea for the next exploration.
