Performance Evaluation Of E-government In Northwestern Frontier Grassroots Areas From The Perspective Of Process Reengineering

At present,technology has become an important force for social change,and e-government has been transformed in the direction of comprehensively expanding government public services,improving the performance of government activities and deepening reforms.The state has taken the development of e-government as a key initiative to improve the national administrative system and innovating administrative management systems and services.The purpose of this paper is to analyze the current situation of local e-government development and identify the main challenges by constructing an e-government performance evaluation index system for the grassroots areas of the northwest border,so as to provide a reference basis for the top-level design,system construction,process optimization and performance evaluation of e-government in the grassroots areas of the northwest border,and to offer suggestions for better promotion of e-government in the grassroots areas of the northwest border.Based on the process reengineering theory,this paper constructs a targeted e-government performance evaluation index system based on the existing literature and the e-government performance evaluation index system at home and abroad,combined with the realistic situation of e-government development in the grassroots areas of the northwest border,and improves it through the expert survey method,and then uses the hierarchical analysis method(AHP)to calculate the weights,and finally constructs a set of e-government performance evaluation index system.On this basis,a questionnaire was designed to assess the development level of e-government in city A.The questionnaire was administered to different groups of people in city A to assess the current status of development in this area,the main problems faced and the effective measures to improve the development level.Combining the results of the expert survey and the questionnaire survey,recommendations and countermeasures were finally proposed in seven directions,including strengthening the design and planning of e-government construction and collaborative development,improving the institutional mechanism for e-government development,raising awareness of the importance of e-government to government reform,strengthening the training of e-government specialists,strengthening e-government infrastructure,focusing on the innovative development of e-government,information sharing and business collaboration.
