Research On The Construction Of Wuerhe Characteristic Town In Karamay City

The construction of new urbanization in China has put forward higher requirements for public service,intensive development,financing capacity,and urban management.The construction of characteristic towns is the only way for the development of new-type urbanization and an important means to revitalize the local economy.During the development of the small town,the economic,cultural,political,social and ecological fields should be combined together to construct the urbanization concept,adjust various elements,and promote traditional culture to solve the problems in the process of urbanization.This paper was guided bypublic service theory,governance theory and polycentric governance theory,and used the literature analysis method and questionnaire survey method to study relevant problems in the construction of Wuerhe characteristic town,and conducted a questionnaire survey on the construction of Wuerhe characteristic town.On the premise of ensuring the rationality of the questionnaire data,230 questionnaires were distributed and recovered,210 of which were valid,with an effective rate of 91.3%.Based on the analysis of development orientation,industrial support,guarantee elements,construction system and other aspects,the study found that there were four major problems in the construction of Wuerhe characteristic town,namely,unclear development target orientation,lack of industrial support,insufficient guarantee of development elements,and lack of assessment,supervision and management standards.Referring to the development experience of other characteristic towns at home and abroad,and in combination with the local actual situation of Wuerhe,the paper proposed countermeasures: construction planning should strive to highlight the characteristics;it is necessary to find the right position,strengthen industrial support,improve the assessment and supervision management system,and strengthen the support of supporting elements,so as to provide reference for decision-making in the construction and development of Wuerhe characteristic town.
