Research On The Willingness And Influencing Factors Of Residents’ Participation In The Renovation Of Old Community In Hefei

The renovation of old communities is an important work content to improve the living infrastructure and the living environment,it is of great significance to enhance the image of the city and optimize urban functions.In recent years,the relevant government departments in various parts of China have vigorously promoted the renovation of old communities,accelerating the upgrading of old communities,residents living in old communities are highly motivated to participate,and the living environment of residents has been significantly improved.However,due to the wide range and the complexity of the renovation work,residents may not understand the renovation work in some places,and their participation willingness is not high or even hinder and refuse to participate the renovation work.This not only delayed the overall process of the old communities renovation work,and it has affected the relationship between the local government and residents.The residents’ participation willingness in the old communities is affected by many factors.This paper takes the old communities renovation in Hefei as an example to discuss residents’ participation willingness and its influencing factors.First of all,domestic and foreign research literature on the the renovation of old communities,resident participation and resident participation willingness influencing factors were reviewed and sorted out,understanding the similarities and differences of domestic and foreign scholars on this topic;Secondly,the concepts of old communities,residents’ participation,participation willingnes and the relevant theories used in this paper are introduced,and the present status of the renovation of old communities in Hefei are introduced,including renovation planning,renovation implementation,renovation effect and the general situation of residents’ participation in the renovation;Thirdly,based on the theory of planned behavior(TPB),combined with the literature builds a influencing factors model about residents’ willingness in communities renovation,puts forward four research hypotheses,and collecting the basic characteristics information and residents’ participation willingness through a field questionnaire survey in Hefei,and then use statistical analysis software tools to identify and solve the theoretical research model,analyzing the specific and impact various factors of the residents’ willingness in old communities renovation work.The study found that the participation cognition and willingness of residents in the renovation of old communities in Hefei need to be improved;there are significant differences in the population characteristics variables of age and literacy in the residents’ participation willingness;the four factors in the TPB have a active effect on the willingness of residents in old communities to participate in the renovation,and the "policy implementation" factor has the greatest effect on residents’ participation willingness.Finally,based on the conclusions drawn from the research analysis,this paper proposes specific countermeasures to enhance the residents’ participation willingness in the renovation of old communities in Hefei,such as formulating incentive measures for residents to participate,improving the conditions for residents’ participation,and optimizing policy implementation methods.
