| In today’s society,with the development of media technology,people are constantly under the influence of media and are changing their behavior habits and even their way of life.In a media-oriented society,people need certain media literacy to effectively use media information to provide help for their study and life.New media information on the good and bad are intermingled,however,for lack of media literacy of teenagers are highly susceptible to bad information,and in this group,this special group of rural left-behind children based on its special growth environment are more likely to lead to problems such as network dependent and be deceived by bad information,this will not only affect the healthy development of the individual body and mind left-behind children,Nor is it conducive to the stability of society as a whole.Therefore,it is particularly important to improve the media literacy of rural leftbehind children,keep a clear,rational and critical mind when using new media mainly represented by smart phones,resist bad temptations,and make reasonable and effective use of new media.This study takes the left-behind children in Zhushuang Village,Yishui County,Shandong Province as the research object.Through questionnaire survey and interview,it is found that the left-behind children in Zhushuang Village have the following characteristics in terms of media contact and media use: the media contact of left-behind children is single,but the media environment is increasingly diversified and complicated;The formation of media literacy of left-behind children is spontaneous;The primary motivation for left-behind children to contact new media is entertainment;Left-behind children of different ages have different media literacy levels.In addition to the above four characteristics,there are five problems: poor cognitive ability of media,single use of media,insufficient critical ability of media information,negative desire for media products and insufficient creative ability,and excessive dependence on new media.Therefore,this paper tries to explore ways to improve media literacy of left-behind children from the perspectives of family,school,society and country.Firstly,the enlightenment power of family education should be exerted to create a healthier media environment for left-behind children.Secondly,we should give full play to the guiding role of school education and make full use of existing media resources to adopt differentiated media literacy education for students of different ages.Then the media itself should play the role of "goalkeeper" and actively undertake social responsibilities;Finally,the state should establish and improve the media literacy education system as soon as possible to escort the growth of teenagers. |
