| Northeast Asia is one of the hot areas in the world,and it is also one of the regions with the fastest economic development in the world,which has a pivotal position.The security issues and situation in the region are also constantly changing,which has important implications for the process of globalization.The countries in Northeast Asia include China,Russia,Japan,North Korea,South Korea and Mongolia,covering socialist countries and capitalist countries,and there are differences in economic and military power.During the Cold War,Northeast Asia,as the front of the conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union,attracted much attention.Although there has been no major war since the end of the Cold War,the possibility of war still exists due to the lack of a reliable security system.There are complex challenges in the region,such as the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula,the Cold War pattern and the Diaoyu Islands issue,and security issues have become an important topic.Russia and China have actively adjusted their strategies and expanded their diplomatic influence,which has promoted the normalization of diplomatic relations among countries in the region and eased tensions.North Korea’s uncertain relations with the United States and Japan pose the greatest threat to the security situation in the entire Northeast Asia region.The combined GDP of the six Northeast Asian countries has accounted for one-fifth of the global economy,and the economic activity and importance of the six countries are self-evident.As a major country,with the rise of globalization,China plays an increasingly prominent role in Northeast Asia.The concept of the Cold War still exists,and the arms race has intensified in recent years.Northeast Asia is of great strategic significance to China’s security interests.The security issue of Northeast Asia is one of the most complex,sensitive and strategic political issues in international relations.By studying China’s Northeast Asia policy and exploring its impact on regional pattern and stability,this study reveals the overall trend and basic characteristics of the regional pattern through the changes in politics,economy,and military power in Northeast Asia.On this basis,explore the goals and implementation process of China’s Northeast Asia policy,and evaluate its impact on China and Northeast Asia region.China’s Northeast Asia policy objectives mainly include improving its own power status,promoting regional economic cooperation,and maintaining regional peace and stability.To achieve these goals,China has promoted peace diplomacy as a major country with distinctive features,carried out "head of state diplomacy",deepened "partnership" among countries,and advanced the process of multilateral cooperation.At the same time,China actively promotes the development of the Northeast Asian economic circle,promotes sub-regional economic cooperation,builds an open economic system,and promotes cooperation and development in key areas.In addition,China has made every effort to maintain regional peace and stability,actively participated in regional security cooperation,promoted the peaceful settlement of regional disputes,and promoted the building of regional consensus in Northeast Asia.China’s Northeast Asia policy has a positive impact on China and Northeast Asia.It will help refute the "China threat theory",boost the economic growth of Northeast China and enhance China’s international influence.At the same time,it should restrain the geopolitical conflicts in East Asia,promote the economic development of Northeast Asian countries,and promote the cultural exchanges and cooperation between countries.Looking forward to the future,China’s Northeast Asia policy needs to continue to promote the construction of the Northeast Asian Economic Community,promote the improvement and development of multilateral mechanisms,and continue to promote people-to-people exchanges among countries,so as to achieve lasting peace and prosperity in Northeast Asia. |
