| As a visual symbol with explanatory power,images have become a vivid expression of the presence of the state in rural daily life.This paper adopts the research method of Grounded theory,takes village R as the field point,collects specific data such as how political images such as leaders’ portraits enter the countryside,where they are hung,and villagers’ understanding of the portraits,and explores the visual rural practice path of national identity.The article starts from five aspects: firstly,the research foundation,mainly including research issues and methods,with a focus on sorting out relevant research on image ideology and constructing the theoretical framework of the article.Second,from the perspective of field research,describe the human geographical information of field sites to establish a spatial political basis for theoretical analysis.The third is to use the research method of Grounded theory to code and analyze the empirical materials.The coding forms five core concepts: political image,country entry,country presence,national experience,and national identity,and then collides with the theoretical framework of literature review,resulting in the analysis framework of this article.The fourth is to analyze the specific scenarios of the country’s presence based on the established model framework,and describe the dissemination of political images in rural areas,including the source of the images,hanging positions,and other content.The fifth is to comprehensively analyze the entire text and explore how rural villagers construct their identification with the country through political images.Research has found that there are two ways in which political images enter rural areas: villagers actively purchase and township governments distribute them;The interpretation of national leaders by villagers presents intergenerational differences,and the specific content of the interpretation is closely related to the process of national construction;Television and the internet,as well as rural propaganda and interpersonal communication among grassroots cadres,are all involved in the dissemination of political images in rural areas.In general,the visual construction of national identity is an effective path in the countryside.Villagers,grass-roots governments,media and rural social interaction jointly complete the visual construction process of vivid national identity. |
