As the reserve force of technical and skilled talents,the professional identity level of students in higher vocational colleges directly affects their behavioral investment in professional learning and future career choices,and is related to the quality of personnel training in higher vocational colleges and the quality of human resources transmitted to the society.Based on this,this paper takes Guangxi higher vocational colleges as the research object,and uses the questionnaire survey method to carry out empirical research.Refer to the’ College Students ’ Professional Identity Questionnaire ’ compiled by Qin Panbo and the selfmade scale based on ternary interactive determinism,the questionnaire of this paper is formed.The data analysis results show that the questionnaire has good reliability and validity.SPSS27.0 was used to analyze the sample data of 869 students in Nanning College for Vocational Technology,to understand the current situation and main problems of students ’ professional identity,to explore the main influencing factors and influence degree of students ’ professional identity in higher vocational colleges,and to put forward targeted ways to improve students ’professional identity,so as to improve the quality of personnel training in Guangxi higher vocational colleges and better serve the development of Guangxi.The study found that the status quo of students ’ professional identity in Nanning College for Vocational Technology is generally at a general level.The average scores of each sub-dimension of professional identity from high to low are behavioral professional identity,cognitive professional identity,emotional professional identity,and appropriate professional identity.In terms of the difference analysis of demographic variables,there are significant differences in the appropriate professional identity dimension between students of different genders;there are significant differences in professional identity and its dimensions among students of different grades,professional comprehensive rankings and professional voluntary choices.There are significant differences in the dimension of emotional professional identity among students with different professional types and student cadre experience;there is no significant difference in professional identity and its dimensions among different places of origin.Through the descriptive statistics and difference analysis of the sample data,it is concluded that the main problems existing in the professional identity of students in Nanning College for Vocational Technology are as follows : the professional cognition is shallow and the understanding is not comprehensive enough;weak professional emotion,lack of sense of belonging;insufficient investment in professional learning behavior and lack of active exploration ability;the level of professional relevance is low,and the tendency of career choice is unstable.According to the results of correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis,it can be concluded that there is a significant positive correlation between the four influencing factors of professional learning conditions,important others,professional reputation and their own factors and professional identity and its dimensions,and the four influencing factors can significantly positively affect the professional identity level of students in higher vocational colleges.Accordingly,Guangxi higher vocational colleges can improve their professional reputation and form a comprehensive professional cognition;improve the evaluation of important others and cultivate positive professional emotions;improve professional learning conditions and strengthen active professional behavior;clarify self-awareness and establish a high degree of professional relevance to improve students ’professional identity.
