A country thrives when its youth flourishes,and a country thrives when its youth is strong.Young officials are the "main force" and "attack team" for promoting economic and social development,and the successors to the cause of the Party and the country.For the country,the cultivation and selection of outstanding young cadres has a bearing on the governance foundation of the Party,whether the country can achieve high-quality development and whether the Chinese nation can achieve great rejuvenation.For L County of Tangshan City,it is related to the construction of the cadre team,whether the key work tasks in the county can be promoted at full speed according to the requirements of the superior,and whether the county economy and society can achieve leapfrog development.Therefore,under the new situation,it is very necessary to study the cultivation and selection of young cadres in L County of Tangshan City from both theory and practice.This paper adopts the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and comparative analysis.On the basis of elaborating the definition of young cadres and training and selection,it comprehensively grasps the general situation of training and selection of young cadres in L County of Tangshan City by referring to archival materials and extensively collecting and summarizing relevant data.This paper focuses on the important practices and explorations in the education and training of young cadres in L County of Tangshan City,practical exercise,selection and selection of excellent candidates,supervision and management,and combines career management theory,competency theory and two-factor theory.It is pointed out that there exist some problems in the training and selection of young cadres,such as unreasonable structure of the team,single access mode and training mode,emphasis on selection over training,disconnection of reserve and use,etc.The main reasons for the formation of these problems are analyzed that the training system of young cadres is not scientific enough,the selection mechanism is not perfect enough and the management system is not perfect enough.Finally,based on the actual situation of L County of Tangshan City,and aiming at the root of the problem,this paper proposes three countermeasures on how to strengthen the construction of the system and mechanism of young cadre training and selection in L County of Tangshan City,including establishing a scientific training system,perfecting the selection mechanism and perfecting the management mechanism,so as to accelerate the process of promoting the youth of the cadre team,improve the scientific and standardized level of young cadre training and selection,and provide strong organizational guarantee and talent support for the development of various undertakings in L County of Tangshan City.
