| Poetry is the oldest literary form in the world.The history of Chinese poetry can be traced back to the pre-Qin period.The book of songs is the first collection of poetry in China,and most of the poems in the collection are collected from folk and rural areas.That is to say,in ancient times,ordinary families with 100 surnames can use poetry to express their thoughts and expressions.However,these poems are not found in written records,but from folk singing.In ancient times,people’s poetry creation was described by sound and sung by people with their mouths.This will give us great inspiration: poetry has indeed been a text that can be read and sung for thousands of years,which is inseparable from the most important sensory organ“mouth”.Although in the 21 st century,our Chinese educators still need to pay attention to the importance of “mouth” for expression and feeling,and let students move their “mouth” in order to deeply interpret and learn the text well,or write good works.Modern Chinese poetry has highly concise artistic beauty such as rhyme,rhythm,thought and emotion.The smart beauty of modern poetry can not disappear.Middle school students’ study of modern Chinese poetry can help them improve their literary literacy and their own temperament.There are thousands of teaching methods of modern Chinese poetry,but the author believes that they are based on“reading”.Poetry reading is the most traditional and effective way for people to learn and understand Chinese for thousands of years.Zhu Xi of the Southern Song Dynasty once said: “if you want to read loudly,you can’t miss a word,you can’t miss a word,you can’t more,you can’t reverse a word,you can’t far fetched and secretly remember.As long as you read it more,it will naturally be catchy and won’t be forgotten for a long time.” Zeng Guofan of the Qing Dynasty also said: “if you don’t read aloud,you can’t show its majestic concept,and if you don’t chant quietly,you can’t explore its far-reaching charm.” It can be seen that the ancients attached importance to reading.The art of reading aloud should not be forgotten and ignored by people.Only through repeated reading can students deepen their deep understanding and perception of the text,which is also the requirement of the new round of Chinese curriculum reform.Therefore,for the majority of front-line Chinese educators,reading aloud is an indispensable teaching method in the teaching of modern Chinese poetry.Therefore,the author aims to study the reading teaching of modern Chinese poetry,put forward his own opinions on the basis of previous research,and hope to analyze and explore the existing problems and solutions of the reading teaching of modern Chinese poetry,especially the reading teaching skills and implementation strategies,I hope it can arouse the respect and attention of the majority of Chinese educators to the reading teaching of modern Chinese poetry.The introduction part includes the research origin,research significance,relevant research review and research methods of thesis.The main body consists of four chapters.The first chapter is an overview of the research on modern poetry reading teaching in junior middle school,which is divided into four parts: the first part is the definition of relevant concepts,such as “reading”,“reading teaching”and “modern poetry reading teaching”.The second part is the statistics and analysis of the contents of modern poetry in junior middle school.The third part is the basis of modern poetry reading teaching in junior middle school,which introduces the clear requirements of modern poetry teaching in the new curriculum standard,junior middle school students’ learning situation and unit objectives.The fourth part is the significance of modern poetry reading teaching in junior middle school,which is elaborated from four aspects:the significance of modern poetry reading teaching in junior middle school for the improvement of students’ Chinese literacy,the role of modern poetry teaching in the physical and mental health development of junior middle school students,the relationship between modern poetry teaching and classical poetry learning,and the help of modern poetry teaching for the inheritance and development of national culture.The second chapter is the current situation of modern poetry reading teaching in junior middle school,which is divided into two parts: the first part is the relevant investigation of the current situation of modern poetry reading teaching in junior middle school,including the questionnaire survey of junior middle school students and the interview survey of junior middle school Chinese teachers;The second part is the analysis of the current situation of modern poetry reading teaching in junior middle school.Starting from the reasons of junior middle school students themselves,the reasons of Chinese teachers’ teaching and skills and the relevant factors of senior high school entrance examination,it analyzes the problems and reasons of modern poetry reading teaching in Junior middle school.The third chapter is the teaching strategy of modern poetry reading in junior middle school,which is divided into two parts: the first part shows the modern poetry reading strategy from the reading skills,and the second part shows the application strategy in the modern poetry teaching classroom from the reading implementation process.The fourth chapter is the author’s teaching design and teaching reflection.In the first part,according to the research on modern poetry reading teaching in thesis,the author designs a teaching plan of modern poetry homesickness by applying the teaching strategy of modern poetry reading;In the second part,the author carries out teaching reflection.First,we should strengthen the ability of Chinese teachers to intervene in reading,which requires us to improve the supporting system of reading teaching,including improving the teacher reading training system,improving the reading teaching evaluation system,and improving the middle school students’ reading evaluation mechanism.Secondly,we should strengthen the evaluation and guidance of reading,and finally improve the teachers’ professional quality,Including modern poetry cultural literacy and reading professional literacy.The
