As a literary genre,novels have always played an important role in Chinese reading teaching in high school.In the modern society where novels are more and more important,how to cultivate students’ novel reading ability is also very important,and how to interpret novel texts is a challenge for middle school students.the biggest problem.The traditional teaching method of analyzing novels as general articles is obviously not suitable for the stylistic characteristics of novels,nor does it meet the requirements of the new curriculum reform.Inspired by theories of acceptance aesthetics,reading psychology,and dialogue theory,multiple interpretation theories have provided a good reference for the teaching of novel reading.On the basis of sorting out the previous research results,the paper analyzes and discusses the relationship between multiple interpretation and high school novel teaching,the problems and causes of the current high school novel multiple interpretation,and then proposes strategies for multiple novel interpretation,including teaching.The principles that should be adhered to,the methods that should be mastered,and the problems that should be paid attention to,are expected to provide necessary reference for the teaching of novel reading in high school.
