| With the deepening of China’s new curriculum reform,scientific literacy has an important connotation and significance in China’s new era education system,and scientific writing is one of the important aspects of evaluating students’ scientific literacy and a necessary part of science education.Cultivating students’ scientific writing skills in classroom teaching can promote the transformation of students’ scientific concepts,help students eliminate mythical concepts,and develop their scientific reasoning skills,thus helping students’ scientific learning and becoming an effective way to improve their scientific literacy.The purpose of this study is to understand the current situation of middle school students’ scientific writing ability and propose a teaching model for developing students’scientific writing ability,so as to provide reference for middle school physics teaching.The article consists of three main parts.The first part defines scientific writing ability and elaborates theories related to scientific writing from four ability dimensions,including the ability to clarify the topic,the ability to propose and explain ideas,the ability to organize and the ability to express.The second part understands the current situation of junior high school students’ scientific writing ability through questionnaire survey and text analysis,and concludes that the problems with junior high school students’ scientific writing ability are:junior high school students’ scientific writing ability is generally at an intermediate level and needs to be futher improved,and the difference between male and female students’ scientific writing ability is not obvious.The third section proposes a teaching model for cultivating students’ scientific writing ability based on domestic and international scientific writing teaching strategies and theories,and with reference to the strategies for cultivating students’writing ability in liberal arts subjects.The model is applied to the teaching cases of"investigating the balance conditions of a lever" and "simple circuit design" to provide reference for the development of junior high school students’ scientific writing ability. |
