The blank space was first used in painting,and then gradually played a role in teaching because of its characteristic of being exhaustive and endless.Teaching blank not only includes teachers’ overall grasp of the classroom process,but also includes the process of teachers guiding students to understand the teaching materials.Looking at the research at home and abroad,it can be found that there are many researches on the use of blank space in Chinese reading teaching.teaching method.However,there are some deficiencies in the research,such as the research objects are more in the primary school stage;the research method is relatively simple,and the action research method has not been tried to conduct research;in the teaching method,the text teaching content and the teaching implementation link have not been organically combined.Therefore,it is very important for Liu Bai to carry out action research in junior high school Chinese reading teaching and to propose systematic and scientific solutions.Based on the literature research method,this study clarifies the relevant concepts,theoretical basis,research status and research significance of teaching blank space.In the early stage of the research,questionnaires and interviews were used to investigate the current situation of blank space in Chinese reading teaching in junior high schools to determine the initial questions for action research.According to the survey results,there are problems such as wrong content,wrong timing,low enthusiasm of students,insufficient awareness of "blank",and weak awareness of students’ classroom participation in Chinese reading teaching in junior high school.This study took ninth grade students as the object of action research and selected three texts to conduct three rounds of action research.During each round of action research,student interviews were used to conduct action reflection.A single-sample test was performed on the scores of the two exams,and the data showed that sig<0.05.It can be considered that there is a significant difference between the two exam scores,and the action research is effective.Aiming at the problems of blank space in the teaching of Chinese reading in junior high school,this research uses the action research method to obtain an effective teaching strategy that can combine the classroom and the text.Leave blank,plot paragraphs blank;find the right time,carry out blank introduction,blank for questions,blank for evaluation and blank writing on the blackboard;to avoid leaving blank and returning blank,teachers need to be based on students,based on teaching practice,and based on their own ability improvement.This study makes up for the lack of research methods and objects in teaching blank space,but due to the limitations of objective reasons,action research cannot be carried out in more schools and classes,and more research will be carried out in the future to enrich the content of this research.
