Curriculum ideology and politics is an important educational concept to cultivate socialist successors in the new era.In 2016,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out at the National Ideological and Political Work Conference that "classroom teaching should be used as the main channel,and all kinds of courses and ideological and political theory courses should work in the same direction to form a synergy." Through ideological and political ideas,ideological and political education and the cooperation of various disciplines,is conducive to the realization of full education,all-round education,the whole process of education.The subject of geography is both comprehensive and open,with the contents of both natural sciences and humanities and social sciences,and contains rich elements of thinking and politics.It is significant to carry out the teaching of civics in geography for the cultivation of students’ national sentiment and the correct establishment of socialist core values.At present,domestic scholars have made a lot of research achievements in the ideological and political teaching of geography courses in colleges and universities,but few achievements in the ideological and political research of high school geography courses,only remaining in the conceptual stage,especially in the mining,application and implementation of the ideological and political elements of high school geography courses,which needs further systematic research.This study follows the research line of "literature combing--problem analysis--element excavation--application experiment--implementation path".Taking the high school geography curriculum teaching as the research object,we mainly adopt the literature research method,questionnaire survey method,case study method,and teaching experiment method to investigate the necessity of integrating geography teaching and curriculum thinking politics,clarify the current situation of integrating geography curriculum thinking politics in high school,scientifically diagnose the problems facing the development of geography curriculum thinking politics,accurately excavate the geography curriculum thinking politics elements and feasible integration points,and then propose an effective path of integrating curriculum thinking politics elements,to provide a certain reference and reference for the construction of high school geography curriculum thinking politics.This paper consists of five parts:The first part is literature review.First of all,through literature review,the research background is clear,the research status at home and abroad is understood,and suitable research methods are selected.Secondly,we outline the connotation and theoretical basis of curriculum thinking and summarize the significance of integrating the concept of curriculum thinking into high school geography teaching from three levels: subject,teacher,and student.The second part,problem analysis.The questionnaire method was adopted to design teachers’ and students’ questionnaires to systematically understand the current situation of ideological and political construction of geography curriculum in senior high schools,and analyze the existing problems of ideological and political construction of geography curriculum according to the survey results,in order to provide guidance for subsequent research.The third part is element mining.Based on high school geography teaching materials,combined with geography core literacy,combined with teaching design,determine moral sentiment,family sentiment,ecological civilization concept,scientific spirit,traditional culture as the main ideological and political elements in high school geography teaching,and a probe into the integration points and feasible integration cases.In the combination of the standards,teaching materials,and learning situation to organize the teaching design ideas,design the case of the integration of curriculum thinking politics into the teaching of high school geography.The fourth part,application experiment.The teaching design was updated according to the subject content and ideological and political elements,and a comparative experiment was carried out for two months.The evaluation scale and in-class test questions were designed to evaluate the experimental results,so as to measure the integration effect of ideological and political elements in geography teaching of high school.The fifth part is the implementation path.Based on the above research,the effective path of integrating ideological and political elements into geography teaching is proposed.First,update teaching concepts and dig ideological and political elements deeply;second,sort out hot materials and integrate them into geography in life;third,optimize learning methods and enrich teaching methods and activities.
