Basic education is the top priority of our country’s educational work,and physical education is an important part of basic education and the cornerstone of national education.The new century is an era of rapid development of China’s social economy,culture,science and technology.The reform of basic education requires the comprehensive promotion of quality education and the construction of a high-quality professional with "noble teachers’ morality,solid professional foundation,outstanding education and teaching ability and self-development ability".The transformation of the teaching staff is related to the modernization of education and the process of building a strong country with human resources,which puts forward higher requirements for middle school physical education teachers.The professional growth of physical education teachers means that physical education teachers actively through lifelong physical education teaching practice,constantly enrich their professional feelings in physical education teaching,acquire professional knowledge of physical education teaching,and improve physical education teaching during this ongoing process of professional competence.This research adopts research methods such as literature method,interview method and case analysis method.Taking Fuyang middle school PE teachers as the research object,and through subjective analysis of the professional narrative and career stories of middle school PE teachers,the results of the excellent middle school PE teachers’ performance are analyzed.Research on professional characteristics,growth trajectory and growth law.The main research conclusions are as follows: First,the special-grade PE teachers in Fuyang middle school show devotion to work,teaching and educating people,caring for students,with firm belief in education and persistent career pursuit;insist on lifelong learning and strict requirements on themselves;adhere to the orientation of educating people,with a confident and optimistic psychology and a healthy personality;good at reflection on teaching practice;outstanding professional expertise,extensive social influence and other professional characteristics.Second,the growth of secondary school PE teachers in Fuyang is not always a positive process,and may encounter setbacks,low tides and stagnation.This is a long process,and it is also a process of continuous pursuit of excellence and self-transcendence.Self-reflection is inseparable from the promotion and restriction of external environment and conditions.Third,the internal factors that promote the professional growth of the secondary school PE teachers in Fuyang mainly include: emotional investment,self-development awareness,and self-development motivation;external factors include: leadership attention and support,and the power of teamwork.Fourth,special-grade physical education teachers can be cultivated.The training of special-grade physical education teachers in middle schools emphasizes the careful cultivation and care of the professional growth process of physical education teachers under the leadership of value rationality,and builds a suitable environment that is conducive to promoting physical education teachers to achieve outstanding achievements.At different stages of professional growth,physical education teachers need to focus on different priorities.Therefore,physical education teachers should clarify the knowledge and abilities they need to master at each stage of their professional growth.Only in this way can they be targeted and better promote their professional growth.
