| The career planning ability of postgraduates is one of the important abilities for the all-round development of postgraduates.Improving the career planning ability of postgraduates has a positive effect on improving the overall quality of postgraduates and promoting the high-quality development of postgraduate education.It is also conducive to promoting postgraduates to carry out career planning and better achieve employment.This paper takes career development theory,trait factor theory and social learning theory as the theoretical basis,and takes postgraduate students from universities in Yong as the research object.The reliability and validity of the questionnaire are tested.Through the questionnaire survey,the status quo of postgraduates’ career planning ability and the differences in demographic variables are obtained,and the effect and degree of influence of influencing factors on career planning ability are obtained.Finally,based on the data analysis results,combined with the theoretical basis,the improvement paths at the individual level,the university level,the family level and the government level are proposed.Through data analysis,it is found that the career planning ability of postgraduates is above the general level.Through the difference analysis,it is found that there are significant differences in the career planning ability of postgraduates in terms of major,type of master’s degree,student cadre experience,work experience,place of origin,and education level of parents.There are no significant differences in gender,grade,and whether or not the only child.Through multiple linear regression analysis,it is found that family care and support,supervisor guidance behavior,and career information acquisition all have significant positive impacts on the career planning ability of postgraduates.Career lectures do not have a significant impact on the career planning ability of postgraduates.According to the research conclusions,the career planning ability of postgraduates can be improved from the aspects of individuals,universities,families and the government.Specifically: increase practical experience to improve career planning ability;use college platforms to take multiple measures to improve career planning ability,such as increasing career information acquisition through multiple channels,giving full play to the guiding role of supervisors,and widening exchanges to improve students’ planning ability;strengthen family-level care and support;the government increases economic support and improves institutional guarantees. |
