Maintaining campus safety and stability is an important prerequisite for all educational construction work,and it is also a basic requirement to ensure the strategic position of education in the overall planning of the party and the state.Therefore,with the rapid development of physical education in our country today,it is an inevitable requirement for the scientific,sound and sustainable development of our country’s education to actively carry out relevant research on risk management of physical education and ensure the life,health and safety of students.First of all,the article takes the risk assessment and response of public physical education teaching in colleges and universities as the research object,mainly based on sports risk theory and system safety management theory,focusing on the existing literature and materials,through field visits,and after several rounds of expert opinions,the "physical education teaching" risk" concept.That is,"physical education teaching risk" refers to the uncertainty of physical and mental harm caused by internal factors,external factors or the combination and superposition of the two in the process of physical education teaching.Risks in the process of public physical education in colleges and universities.At the same time,through multiple rounds of expert questionnaire surveys,a risk assessment index system for university public physical education teaching including 3 first-level indicators,8second-level indicators,and 41 third-level indicators was finally established,which is used to intuitively and accurately reflect the public education in colleges and universities.Risk factors in the physical education process to ensure risk assessment,overall effectiveness and ultimate benefit of coping.Secondly,using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)to quantify the weight of the qualitative index of public physical education teaching risk in colleges and universities.The results show that the weights of the first-level indicators are "teaching-related personnel risk","teaching environment risk" and "teaching material risk";the second-level index weights are "student risk","sports venue environmental risk" and "teacher risk"...;The weights in the three-level indicators are "student injury and illness","ground obstacles","quality of sports equipment and facilities","scientific nature of physical education management system","personnel density in teaching venues"....Afterwards,an overall evaluation of the risk of public physical education teaching in a university is carried out by using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.The evaluation results show that although the public sports teaching risk rating of the university is "good",there is still a certain gap from "excellent",and there is still room for improvement in dealing with and preventing risks.Finally,the research suggests adopting a four-in-one mixed coping strategy of risk control,risk avoidance,risk transfer,and risk taking to prevent and control the risks of physical education teaching,so as to promote the management of the current public physical education teaching risks in colleges and universities.
