Research On Social Work Participation In Urban Community Self-organization And Communication Capacity Building

Grassroots community governance is an important starting point for strengthening grassroots social governance and construction and promoting social management and reform.In the1990 s,the state promoted community construction and governance,and community self-organization came into being.In the process of urbanization,potential social conflicts erupted,and traditional public service entities failed to effectively respond.As a measure and mechanism to promote residents’ autonomy,it made up for the insufficiency of hierarchical governance and market governance,and became a new governance carrier in the community.However,how to promote the building of community self-organization capacity has become a common concern of both political and academic circles.With its professional and flexible intervention characteristics,social work helps to realize the professionalization and socialization of community self-organization,but the specific intervention mode is still in the process of exploration.Based on habermas’ s communication action theory and empowerment theory,using qualitative research methods,participatory observation and semi-structured interviews,to sort out and summarize the development status of Y community self-organization,and the community neighborhood committee as a courtyard self-organization and community the basic situation of other relevant interest groups in the three dimensions of communication cognitive ability,communication skills,and communication feedback ability.The study found that the members of the Y community neighborhood committee have problems of unclear communication cognition,lack of communication skills,and insufficient communication feedback when communicating with other interest groups in the community.Taking the communication capacity building of the community neighborhood committee in Y community as the research object,the group work method is used to intervene and evaluate the members of the community neighborhood committee.Finally,by summarizing and reflecting on the research,it puts forward suggestions and countermeasures for social work to participate in the construction of community self-organized communication ability.
