With the continuous development and progress of economy and society,social construction occupies an increasingly important position in the process of modernization of national governance.Community governance has become an important foundation of social construction,and the whole people's participation in community governance with organizational characteristics has become a distinct feature.Community social organization is a manifestation of residents' organization.It plays an indispensable role in community governance and community service.The healthy development of community social organization directly affects the level of community development governance.At this stage,community social organizations are mushrooming.They play an irreplaceable role in meeting the needs of residents in community cultural activities,public welfare charity,neighborhood mutual assistance,and serving the people.In the process of the development of community social organizations,there are also some factors and problems that affect or restrict the sustainable development.One of the important factors is that the leadership ability of community social organizations is generally low.From a practical point of view,the leadership ability of community social organizations needs to be improved urgently.Based on this,the author participated in the Chengdu X Community Building Project,and tried to intervene in the leadership capacity building of community social organizations through social work.From the perspective of social learning theory,using group work,10 leaders or backbone of five community social organizations were given practical work to enhance their ability.Social workers interviewed leaders of community social organizations with the method of qualitative interviews.The study found that the needs of leaders of community social organizations are mainly reflected in learning,management and integration of resources.On the basis of needs assessment,the "I can" growth group is developed.Social workers use the four processes of observational learning(attention process,retention process,action reproduction process,motivation process)to carry out the growth group of leadership improvement.Social workers through the development of this group,summed up some experience.From the perspective of social learning theory,the development of community social organization Leaders' ability improvement growth group can adopt diversified demonstration forms,combine the visual system of observation learning with the speech system,refine the information feedback and operation ability of group members,strengthen the combination of direct reinforcement and substitution reinforcement,and help to improve the observation learning ability of group members.The study also found that community leaders of social organizations generally have the need to improve their abilities;the capacity building of community leaders of social organizations is a long-term process;and the intervention of social work in the capacity building of community leaders of social organizations has unique advantages.
