In recent years,there have been many endless incidents of school bullying among junior high school students in rural areas,including students around me who have suffered or are suffering from school bullying.However,due to the strong concealment of school bullying,it is not easy to be detected,so teachers and parents often neglect school bullying,while its great harm to students’ physical health and mental health is real.Therefore,the phenomenon of campus bullying urgently needs to be highly valued by all teachers,students,parents and even the whole society,and to take effective measures to prevent and deal with it.This study takes N Middle School in Shantou as an example,from the perspective of Cognitive behavior theory,Moral avoidance theory and Need-hierarchy theory,adopting the combination of quantitative research and qualitative research,through the literature analysis,questionnaire,interview,and the current situation of the rural school bullying,including the definition,places,type and the characteristics of the bullying,and analyse the reasons for school bullying,including personal,school,family and social reasons,and finally draw the following conclusions:Firstly,in rural middle school,bullying behavior is mainly concentrated in the dormitory,classroom and toilet.The main kind of bullying is about verbal bullying,relationship bullying and physical bullying.In addition,students from poor families,poor classmates and students get good grades are more likely to become bullied,while students with short-tempered and superior families are more likely to become bullies.Secondly,rural middle school students and head teachers have a low cognitive level of campus bullying phenomenon,and generally regard campus bullying behavior as a small fight between students,which will not pay attention to;Thirdly,rural middle schools lack the management mechanism and universal publicity activities to deal with school bullying,and the head teacher lacks the professional treatment of school bullying in the process of class management;Fourthly,poor family environment and parent-child relationship have an important impact on students’ mental health and character development.Students living in these bad environments are easy to become bullies or bullied.Fifthly,the state lacks laws and regulations to punish school bullying.Therefore,in view of the above reasons for campus bullying,to curb and reduce the occurrence of it,this paper mainly puts forward the main strategy from optimizing the class education management of the head teacher.First,to create a new type of teacher-student relationship and care for every student.Second,to enrich the ways of publicity,and make all focus on school bullying.Third,to improve the class rules and class contract and management system to standardize students’ behavior.Fourth,to manage boys and girls school bullying differently.Fifth,to ignore the innovation of moral education concept in the class management.Sixth,to strengthen the home-school cooperation mechanism.Finally,to increase the supervision and management of the monitoring dead corners.In addition,auxiliary strategies are put forward from the student level,family and social level.In short,school bullying requires the joint efforts of joint learning,parents and society to create a safe and harmonious campus environment for young people.
