Learning engagement is an important indicator of students’ positive psychological status in the process of learning and also one of the indicators to predict their academic achievement.Students with high quality of learning engagement will maintain good interpersonal relationships in the class,such as maintaining friendly relationships with teachers and classmates,and promoting the healthy development of students’ physical and mental health.The head teacher is the guide of students,teaches students knowledge,but also manages students’ daily life,is a direct influence factor of junior high school students’ learning engagement level.The quality of junior high school students’ learning involvement is closely related to the head teacher’s leadership behavior.Therefore,it is worth paying attention to explore the specific relationship between the head teacher’s leadership behavior and junior high school students’ learning engagement,and which behaviors can have a positive impact on junior high school students’ learning engagement.Taking students’ perception as the main reference,this study analyzes the influence of head teacher’s leadership behavior on junior high school students’ learning engagement based on PM theory,student engagement theory,self-system theory and participation identification model,in order to further improve the current learning engagement level of junior high school students.Three schools representing different levels and types in Shihezi city and Urumqi city were selected and distributed through the questionnaire star platform,and 896 questionnaires were collected online.SPSS24 was used for data processing.At present,the overall quality of grade 7 to grade 9 students’ rating of the head teacher’s leadership behavior and learning investment is relatively ideal.Demographic variables involved in the student’s grade,students’ identity,accommodation,whether for extern,grades will significantly affect the junior middle school students to the teacher in charge into the quality of the evaluation of leadership behavior and learning,and students’ gender on the head teacher leading behavior evaluation and study the quality of the input that there is no significant difference;Head teacher leading behavior of care for students,teaching behavior,moral education,daily management,construction of the class,classroom management and junior high school students learning into the total dimension and three dimension between present positive correlation,that is on duty director in care about students,teaching behavior,moral education,daily management,class construction and class management,the better,The higher the degree of learning involvement of junior high school students;Excluding the influence of demographic variables,the leadership behavior of the head teacher has a great impact on the learning engagement of junior middle school students in classroom management,moral education and teaching behavior.It has a great influence on classroom management,caring for students and teaching behavior of junior high school students.The affective involvement of junior middle school students in classroom management,daily management,class body construction has a great impact;It has a deep influence on junior high school students’ cognitive involvement in classroom management,moral education and teaching behavior.There is a significant positive correlation between the head teacher’s leadership behavior and junior high school students’ learning engagement.Based on the head teacher’s leadership behavior,this paper puts forward the following four countermeasures and suggestions to optimize the head teacher’s leadership behavior,so as to improve the junior high school students’ learning involvement: first,treat students with kindness;second,engage in moral education;third,convince students with solid knowledge;fourth,strengthen the class collective construction. |
