Class self-management is a class management mode aiming at promoting the all-round development of all students’ comprehensive quality. This management mode puts forward that the head teacher should fully mobilize students’ main ability, provide students with more opportunities to develop their own ability, and encourage students to create new ideas and the common development of practical ability. The main question of this thesis is what is the current situation of class self-management of senior primary school students? How to better promote the implementation of primary school class self-management?Taking the fifth and sixth grade students of a primary school in Shihezi as the main research object, this thesis establishes the research framework of class self-management of senior primary school students by using the research methods of questionnaire survey, interview and social network analysis, taking the subjective learning theory,self-organization theory and demand level theory as the main research cornerstone, and using the research method of quantitative analysis and practical experience,The main content of its research is defined as three levels, which are: Pupils’ understanding of class self-management,pupils’ willingness to carry out class self-management and pupils’ satisfaction with class self-management.Combined with the interview with the head teacher, this thesis comprehensively studies the current situation and different characteristics of class self-management of senior primary school students. The main conclusions of this study are: Students’ cognitive level of class self-management is high, but their relative willingness to participate is relatively low,and their satisfaction with the existing class self-management system is not high; The cognitive level and willingness to participate in class self-management of non class cadre students are lower than that of class cadres;Students with average grades have lower satisfaction with class self-management than those with excellent grades; There is polarization in the relationship between class members. The main problems of class self-management are: students have few opportunities to participate in class self-management;The election of class cadres lacks democracy;Students’ enthusiasm to participate in class self-management is not high;Students’ class self-management ability is uneven. The main reasons for the problems are: the head teacher ignores the subjectivity and comprehensiveness of students’ class independent management, the lack of incentive mechanism of class management, individual differences among students, excessive academic burden and so on.In order to strengthen the dominant position of students in class and cultivate students’ innovative thinking and practical ability, the measures that can be taken include: changing the cognitive deviation of head teachers and fully realizing class independent management;Improve students’ self-management mechanism and increase students’ opportunities to participate in management;Strengthen class target management and improve students’ sense of class responsibility;Provide diversified activity platforms and cultivate students’ ability to actively participate.
