Prose occupies more space and is the focus of teaching in junior high school Chinese textbooks. At this stage, the actual teaching of modern and contemporary prose in junior high schools generally adopts the method of single intensive reading. With the continuous improvement of the requirements for students’ reading ability in the new curriculum reform.many front-line teachers have tried to combine group reading teaching with prose reading to change the original teaching strategies, expand the breadth and depth of students’ reading, improve the progress of students’ thinking and aesthetic ability. The process of group reading teaching from heory to practice still needs in-depth research.and the design issues of accurate, reasonable and clear issues is the key to implementing group reading teaching,so that prose reading teaching can achieve twice the result with half the effort. In the practice of group text reading teaching, teachers have misunderstandings in issue design due to lack of systematic guidance.According to the teaching objectives, the content of the textbooks and the learning situation of junior high school students, this paper studies the issue design from macro and micro perspectives.Chapter One first points out the connotation of group reading teaching:it is a process of collective discussion and consensus reached on the basis of teachers and students reading multiple texts around issues. And expounds its significance from two aspects of promoting teachers’ career development and students’ ability improvement. Then based on the core elements of group reading, the key of teaching process and the consistency of learning and teaching, the importance of issue design is analyzed. And the four design principles of issue argument-ability,criticality,penetration,openness are further briefly analyzed,as well as the macro and micro design types of issue. The second chapter designs a questionnaire for both teachers and students concerning the teaching status of junior high school prose group reading, analyzes the existing problems in issue design, lists four design mistakes that teachers need to avoid:lack of professional knowledge and initiative, ignoring textbooks, not close to learning situation. And puts forward solutions:actively improve themselves, attach importance to textbooks and establish a relationship with students. The third chapter specifically explores the teaching issue design strategy of modern and contemporary prose group reading. The first part puts forward the specific methods of design issues are put forward:guided by the core literacy of Chinese subjects, guided by the arrangement characteristics of unified edition textbooks and linked by students’psychological and developmental needs. And analyzes the arrangement characteristics and the distribution of articles of modern and contemporary prose in the Chinese textbook compiled by the middle school by means of tables. The second section combines with the specific prose articles to explore the issue design from seven aspects:the same issue, the difference issue, the issue of knowing others, the issue of prose content, language features, emotional issues and writing issues. The fourth chapter lists the specific cases of the design of the teaching issues of modern and contemporary prose group reading in junior high school. The issue design is elaborated from two aspects:the design description and design method including the core Chinese literacy, textbook analysis and learning situation.Study life experience and spiritual power of Shi Tiesheng to design the issue of "life and growth";The issue of "Looking for the’beauty’ of life" is designed from the plain, interesting and philosophical views contained in Wang Zengqi’s prose.
