Group reading is a new teaching mode of reading in recent years.It is called "Group reading" teaching method.In general,it refers to the process of reading teaching in whic h a topic is first identified,multiple texts are selected around the topic to form a group te xt,and then teachers and students start reading,collective construction,and finally reach a consensus around the topic.This new reading teaching model has developed well in the field of primary school,but it has not attracted the attention of high school teachers,and few have applied it to practical teaching.In high school Chinese classroom,modern and contemporary prose teaching is more important.But the present situation of modern and contemporary prose teaching is not op timistic,there is a widespread phenomenon that teachers "do not attach importance to" an d students "do not like ".In order to change this teaching situation and stimulate students' interest in learning,the teaching method of "group reading" is worth trying.The teachin g method of "group reading" emphasizes the main position of students,fully arouses stud ents' subjective initiative,arouses students' interest in reading,and finally reaches a conse nsus in the collective construction of teachers and students;these can make up for the def ects of traditional reading teaching to a certain extent.This article is mainly about " The necessity and feasibility of applying group reading teaching method to modern and conte mporary prose teaching in senior high school,the method of practical operation and the p roblems needing attention.This paper combines the teaching method of "group reading" with the teaching of m odern and contemporary prose reading in senior high school,hoping to give some new te aching design ideas to Chinese teachers in senior high school.This paper is divided into t he following parts:Introduction,mainly elaborated the research background,the researchsignificance,t he research present situation,the research method.The first chapter is mainly from the origin and development of the teaching method of "group text reading ",the definition of related concepts,the theoretical basis and significance,the present situation of modern and contemporary prose teaching in senior high school,and the relationship between modern and contemporary prose teaching and group text reading in senior high school.Only by knowing what group reading teachingmethod is and the relationship between group reading teaching method and modern prose teaching in senior high school can we apply group reading teaching method to modern and contemporary prose teaching.In the second chapter,the main content is to make clear the necessity and applicability of "group reading" teaching method to modern and contemporary prose teaching in senior high school.In order to understand the current situation of prose group reading teaching in senior high school,the author used questionnaire to study the current situation of prose group reading teaching in senior high school.This paper analyzes the problems existing in the teaching of modern and contemporary prose group reading in senior high school through the investigation results of the present teaching situation.The third chapter mainly expounds how to apply the teaching method of "group readi ng" to modern and contemporary prose reading teaching in senior high school,which is t he core part of this paper.First of all,from the aspects of "topic determination "," text sel ection "," collective construction and consensus-building ",this paper expounds how to a pply the teaching method of " group reading " to the teaching of modern and contemporary prose in senior high school.Then it emphasizes the problems that should be paid attentio n to in the teaching of modern and contemporary prose group reading,and finally provide s a teaching design to illustrate how the teaching method of "group text reading" is applie d to the teaching of modern and contemporary prose in senior high school.
