A Study On Employment Assistance For Urban Subsistence Allowance Family Members From The Perspective Of Empowermen

Employment assistance,as a part of social assistance,is an important social security system in China.In recent years,with the development of the economy and society and the improvement of living standards,the urban minimum living standards have gradually increased,and the scope of urban and rural minimum living standards has continuously expanded.Therefore,how to solve the employment assistance for urban low-income families has become a hot issue.Therefore,this article focuses on the members of low-income families in cities as the main service objects.From the perspective of empowerment,different members of the family are used as the research subjects to analyze and understand the current employment assistance situation of low-income families in cities.The research methods include survey research and field research,using survey questionnaires and unstructured interviews to understand the problems and needs of low-income family members.Through case studies,group work,and community work methods,Empowering members of low-income families with employment awareness,skills,and resources through practical research.Based on the author’s survey,analyze the current employment situation of low-income family members in cities,and evaluate the employment problems of low-income family members in cities through the analysis of the employment situation.Firstly,members of low-income families have incorrect attitudes towards employment,mainly reflected in the fact that parents in low-income families only focus on their children’s learning and evade their employment responsibilities.This further leads to the lack of parental education in low-income families,transforming their employment awareness from a roundabout perspective.Secondly,there is a lack of employment skills among members of low-income families,and their educational backgrounds are generally low because they lack a cultural or skill foundation,making them unable to find employment.At the same time,family members of subsistence allowances do not have their own social support network for employment assistance.The lack of social resource links and the weak social support network cannot maintain the sustainable development of family members’ employment.Finally,practical assistance was provided to urban low-income family members in terms of employment awareness,skill training,and social resource linkage through the use of three major methods: case work,group work,and community work.In order to enhance the ability of vocational education and change employment concepts,learn employment skills to find stable jobs,and build a family employment support network to maintain employment situation.
