As the migrant population changes from ’single’ to ’family’ migration,the living and learning environment of migrant children changes as their parents change jobs,making it difficult for them to adapt and thus prone to problems with their enthusiasm,study habits and learning methods.This can lead to problems with enthusiasm,study habits and learning methods.If these problems are not addressed in a timely manner,they will have a negative impact on the adaptation and healthy growth of migrant children.Based on the dominant perspective theory and the ecosystem theory,this paper analyses the current situation of the learning adaptability of migrant children,the needs of migrant children in terms of learning adaptability,and then analyses the problems and factors affecting the learning adaptability of migrant children.The problems will be discussed in depth in four areas: learning attitudes,learning skills,learning environment and psychosomatic well-being.The influencing factors are developed in three directions: at the individual level,at the family level and at the school level.In this paper,the author selects typical cases for case service based on the preliminary research.During the case service,the field research method was used,and various data collection methods such as questionnaires,semi-structured interviews and participant observation were employed to gain an in-depth understanding of the current situation and needs of the clients.Based on the strengths perspective,the clients were guided to change their attitudes towards learning,improve their learning techniques and change their listening methods at the individual level;to understand their poor perceptions,discover their strengths and improve their poor perceptions at the cognitive level;to create a family environment,promote parent-child relationships and emphasise family education at the family level;and to improve teacher-student relationships,focus on peer relationships and strengthen home-school collaboration at the school level.In the process of intervention,the "family-school-social worker linkage" model is adopted to help the clients improve their adaptive skills in learning.Through practice,it has been found that case social work interventions are effective in improving the learning skills of migrant children,handling peer relationships and improving parent-child relationships,and that targeted interventions can be carried out according to the needs of the clients to enhance their abilities.
