| Learning how to learn is an important aspect of students’ development of core literacies,and learning quality is a key aspect of how students learn to learn.In particular,the cultivation of the learning quality of the lower primary school students is a solid foundation for promoting their sustainable development of learning.However,in the real classroom reality,the development of learning quality faces many problems.For example,the teaching style is single and stereotypical,the teaching content is not properly organized,the teacher-student interaction is authoritarian,and the students’ emotional experience is neglected in the excessive pursuit of achievement.For these reasons,it is important to investigate the current situation,problems and reasons behind the development of learning quality in lower elementary school students and to try to propose targeted and actionable learning quality development strategies.On the basis of collating and analyzing the literature on learning quality,the questionnaire of learning quality of primary school students and the outline of teacher interview on learning quality cultivation in classroom teaching were compiled.A survey was conducted among 518 students of Grade 1 and Grade 2 in the Central Primary School of L town in D county.The conclusion is as follows:First,the overall learning quality of lower grade students in rural elementary schools is at a moderate to low level.The mean and overall mean scores of the eight dimensions of their learning quality ranged from 3 to 3.2 points.Second,the total learning quality scores of rural elementary school students in the lower grades were unevenly distributed among all levels.Third,the level of learning behavior of the lower grade students in village elementary school is lower than the level of learning attitude.Fourth,the problems reflected in the analysis of the differences of various dimensions of learning quality in different variables.Through exploration and analysis,it is found that there are four reasons behind the above conclusions: professional concepts need to be updated,and classroom teaching is arbitrary and inefficient;Humanistic management concept is weak,showing "authoritarian" teacher-student relationship;The communication mechanism between home and school is not perfect,and the channels of resource exchange are not smooth;Pay too much attention to academic performance,and the way of learning evaluation is single.In view of the above conclusions and the reasons behind them,the author puts forward some suggestions on cultivating the learning quality of junior students in rural primary schools from the following four aspects: first,create a learning organization and create an efficient and innovative classroom;Second,implement the humanistic management concept and establish a democratic relationship between teachers and students;Third,improve the communication mechanism between home and school to realize the exchange of resources;Fourth,implement the monitoring of learning process and improve the comprehensive evaluation system.In a word,it is necessary to rationally use theoretical knowledge,mobilize various main forces,and combine various training strategies to effectively improve the learning quality of primary school students in lower grades and promote their healthy development. |
