| When the young generation has ideals and responsibilities,the country will have a future and the nation will have hope.College students in the new era are a new force for the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and a solid reserve force for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The professional values of college students directly affect the realization of their career ideals,which is related to the practice of socialist core values in the career field,and even related to the creation of career choice atmosphere in the whole society and the future of socialist modernization.Marx’s view of youth career selection and Xi Jinping’s important discourse on young people’s career choice lay a solid theoretical foundation for the guidance of the professional values of college students in the new era.In different historical periods since the founding of new China,college students’ professional values and guidance show different characteristics along with economic development and policy changes.Great changes have taken place in the realistic field of college students ’career choice,which makes the guidance of college students’ professional values encounter the opportunities of this era and practical challenges.College students’ professional values have the overall consistency characteristics and has the difference characteristics.Firstly,the overall characteristics of their occupational value orientation highlight the coordinated development of material pursuit and spiritual pursuit,while emphasizing the organic unity of individual value and social value;the top three types of college students’ employment willingness are state-owned enterprises,public institutions and government organs,which have an obvious tendency to choose "within the system" work types,and the employment willingness of grassroots(or western China)and key industries is strong.Secondly,there are new significant differences on the Professional values of college students in new era in natural factors(gender,age),educational factors(grade,subject category,political status,student cadre experience,work experience)and growth background(place of origin,only child,household monthly income,parents’ education level).Thirdly,the guidance of professional values of college students in the new era has achieved certain results,however,value guidance still needs to be further improved in the national overall guidance,social public opinion environment,college curriculum and practical education,family education enlightenment and personal cognition.The professional values guidance of college students in the new era needs to establish clear guiding principles and formulate scientific and effective guiding content.In the process of guidance,we should strictly abide by the principle of combining theory and practice,the principle of combining direction and pertinence,the principle of combining explicit education and implicit education,and the principle of combining education and self-education.At the same time,a five-in-one value guidance system of "Cognition,emotion,will,faith,and action" should be constructed.A five-dimensional guidance system based on national guidance,social education,college education,family enlightenment and individual initiative should be built to optimize the guidance path of college students’ professional values on the premise of understanding the development characteristics and guidance of college students’professional values in the new era.Firstly,strengthen national policy guidance,while adhering to the core socialist values,ensuring employment security,and expanding employment channels;secondly,attach importance to the power of public opinion,while improving the effectiveness of Internet governance,continuing to promote people-oriented literary and artistic creation,and setting an example for social professions;moreover,adhere to the leading role of college education,while sticking to the main position of classroom education,creating characteristic campus culture,and making full use of school resources;finally,consolidate the foundation of family career enlightenment,while giving play to the subjective initiative of individual career selection. |
