The junior high school stage is a critical period for students’ physical and mental development.For students who are at the stage of forming their outlook on life,values,and personality,it is necessary to strengthen aesthetic education and guidance.There are over20 selected articles compiled by the Ministry of Education.The aesthetic themes of growth and love,nature and imagination contained in these selected articles of children’s literature are close to students’ lives,can bring students a sense of familiarity and intimacy,and thus trigger their emotional resonance.However,in the practice of Chinese teaching,teachers do not attach great importance to the selection of children’s literature,and their aesthetic value has not yet been fully developed and transmitted.Therefore,this article takes the selected passages of children’s literature in the compiled junior high school Chinese textbooks as the research object,excavates its aesthetic education value,and proposes some aesthetic education strategies for the selected passages of children’s literature through collecting and analyzing excellent teaching cases.Part Ⅰ: Introduction.summarizes the relevant research results,defines the concepts of children and children’s literature,and finally expounds the research methods and innovation points.Part Ⅱ: Summarize and analyze the stylistic and thematic characteristics of children’s literature selections,experiencing diverse aesthetic cognition;Taking kindness as beauty and establishing a correct aesthetic outlook;Children oriented,experiencing rich aesthetic emotions.Part Ⅲ: The current situation of aesthetic education and teaching of children’s literature in junior high school,summarizing and analyzing the existing problems and corresponding reasons.The problems are summarized as follows: emphasizing knowledge teaching while neglecting the value mining of aesthetic education;Emphasizing examination oriented education and neglecting the cultivation of aesthetic ability;Emphasize "utilitarian" learning and ignore aesthetic emotional experience.The corresponding reasons are as follows: teachers’ teaching theoretical literacy is not comprehensive,and their aesthetic cognition is single;Teachers’ teaching methods are solidified and aesthetic creativity is lacking;The psychological development of students during adolescence complicates their aesthetic emotions.Part Ⅳ: Analysis of strategies for improving aesthetic education in selected articles of Chinese children’s literature in junior high school,and puts forward the following suggestions: "tracing the source" aesthetic education improvement;"Exploring the Li and Getting the Pearl" style aesthetic education practice;"Children oriented" aesthetic education permeates.
