The unified edition of high school Chinese textbooks is an excellent textbook text carrying the ideology of the times.As an indispensable part of Chinese textbooks,female images are of great significance for high school students to develop healthy personality and to shape their gender awareness.Since the 20 th century,the PEP edition of Chinese textbooks has mainly undergone three major changes from 2003 edition,2007 edition to the unified edition,and Chinese contemporary literature is a direct reflection of writers and mainstream values and attitudes in the new era.Therefore,this study takes the Chinese contemporary female images in the unified edition of high school Chinese textbooks as the research object,and firstly compares the other two sets of PEP textbooks from the perspectives of number,genre,protagonist image,and writer structure of the selected articles,highlighting the innovations of the unified edition of the textbook on the roles of contemporary Chinese women and the selection of female writers.Secondly,through data comparison,the innovation points of Chinese modern and contemporary female images in the unified edition of textbooks are analyzed in terms of the views on women in the new era,the commonality and individuality of the chapters,as well as the serialization and diversification of female images.Eventually,based on the above analysis,guided by tasks and problems,through considering the guidance of emotion,aesthetics and values,the teaching strategies on the chapter on Chinese modern and contemporary female images in the unified edition of textbooks are discussed.Therefore,taking the selected articles of Chinese contemporary female images as the starting point,this study can provide a new angle for the study of the unified edition textbooks,and provide help for teaching of selected articles on Chinese contemporary female images.
