With the promulgation and implementation of the new junior high school Chinese curriculum standards,the development of students’ core literacy has received more and more attention,which also puts forward higher requirements for Chinese teaching.Reading has always been the key part of Chinese teaching in junior high school.The traditional single reading teaching can no longer meet the requirements of the comprehensive development of students’ Chinese literacy.In contrast,the teaching of unit reading as a whole can break the limitations of individual reading materials to a certain extent,so that students can obtain more abundant reading materials and improve their reading ability.The key content of this study is to better design the teaching design of unit overall reading according to the teaching materials and learning conditions,and to conceive a better teaching design strategy of unit overall reading.This study is divided into six parts,combining theory with practice.The preface summarizes the source of the topic,the significance of the research,the literature review of the existing research and the research plan;The first part describes the meaning and characteristics of unit reading teaching,analyzes theoretical and factual foundations of reading instruction as a whole,and lays the foundation for the following research;The second part is to understand the current situation and existing problems of Chinese reading teaching in junior middle school through questionnaires,interviews,classroom observation,etc;The third part,based on the above research and the current situation survey,puts forward the optimization strategies of the overall reading teaching of junior high school Chinese units,including multi-dimensional integration,multi-method linkage,and multi-gradient training;The fourth part,based on the proposed design strategy,takes the fourth unit of the first volume of the eighth grade as an example to design the overall reading teaching of the unit by analyzing the content of the textbook and the arrangement characteristics,and analyzes the implementation effect;Finally,the conclusion summarizes the research results.This study,starting from theory and practice,puts forward a comparative strategy of teaching Chinese reading in junior high school based on the unit as a whole.It can provide some reference for teachers to carry out teaching,better realize the compilation value of the unified compilation of junior high school Chinese textbooks,and improve the efficiency of Chinese teaching.
