| The dragon boat project is a physical fitness-dominated competitive project that emphasizes strength and endurance qualities.Physical fitness is the key factor that determines the victory in the competition.Functional training is currently a hot topic in the field of physical fitness training worldwide and has received increasing attention from researchers and coaches in China.However,there is no complete functional fitness training system for the dragon boat project in China.How to apply cutting-edge scientific training methods and integrate functional fitness training into dragon boat training practice to enhance its competitive level is the most important issue facing the development of dragon boat sports.This article systematically expounds the theory and methods of functional fitness training in competitive sports,analyzes the characteristics and physical functional requirements of the dragon boat project,designs a set of functional fitness training programs for the dragon boat project,and conducts empirical research using literature research,expert interviews,experimental methods,and mathematical statistics.The results are as follows:(1)The functional movement screening results of the Northeast Electric Power University dragon boat team members before the implementation of the training program were poor.Although the trunk stability push-up performance was good,the flexibility of the thoracic spine,shoulder joint,and ankle joint was insufficient,the scapular stability was poor,and the core anti-rotation and anti-lateral bending ability was weak.(2)This training program can significantly improve the movement patterns of dragon boat team members.After the experiment,the problem of insufficient flexibility and stability of the athletes was basically solved.Except for the two movement patterns of active straight leg raise and rotational stability,which showed no significant difference before and after the experiment(P>0.05),the other five patterns showed significant differences.(3)This training program can significantly improve the physical fitness level of dragon boat athletes.In the maximum explosive power and muscle strength tests,there were significant differences in the 1RM bench press performance before and after the experiment(P<0.05);there were very significant differences in the 1RM high pull and 1RM bench pull performance(P<0.01).In the muscle endurance test,there were significant differences in the bench press to exhaustion performance before and after the experiment(P<0.05);there were very significant differences in the bench pull to exhaustion performance before and after the experiment(P<0.01).In the core stability test,the athlete’s level 8 abdominal bridge score increased from(6.33±0.78)to(7.67±0.49),and there was a very significant difference before and after the experiment(P<0.01).(4)This training program can significantly improve the specialized performance of dragon boat athletes.The maximum power of single paddle increased by 23.856w,and there was a very significant difference before and after the experiment(P<0.01);the number of paddles from starting to maximum power decreased by 0.583,and there was a significant difference before and after the experiment(P<0.05);the 500-meter ergometer score improved by 0.917s,and there was a significant difference before and after the experiment(P<0.05).Research conclusion:(1)By analyzing the characteristics and physical functional requirements of the dragon boat project and combining the results of the pre-experiment screening assessment indicators,a 12-week functional fitness training program was designed based on the principles of balance,movement standardization,basic movement patterns and specialized features,and coordination of flexibility and stability development.The program includes three stages:basic preparation period(weeks 1-4),specialized preparation period(weeks 5-8),and specialized transformation period(weeks 8-12).The training content includes movement preparation(pillar preparation,dynamic stretching,movement skill integration,and neuromuscular activation),movement pattern training,strength and explosive power training,core stability training,rapid stretch composite training,energy metabolism training,and recovery and regeneration training.A relatively complete functional fitness training program for the dragon boat project was formed,which achieved good results.(2)Through empirical research,it was found that this training program can effectively improve the functional movement patterns of the Northeast Electric Power University dragon boat team members,confirming that functional fitness training is suitable for the dragon boat project.(3)Through empirical research,it was found that the functional fitness training program designed in this study can effectively improve the maximum explosive power,maximum muscle strength,muscle endurance,and core stability of the Northeast Electric Power University dragon boat team members.This indicates that this functional fitness training program is scientifically reasonable and can provide reference for the formulation of athlete physical fitness training plans in future competition preparations. |
