Research travel is an important measure of teaching reform in primary and secondary schools in China.It aims to cultivate students’ ability to integrate theory with practice,unity,cooperation and practice,as well as a good mentality.Middle school geography involves population,resources,environment and development.It has good nature,society and knowledge practicality.It has great potential in realizing the educational function of research travel.Through literature research,we know that in the current research and learning,the proportion of geography research and learning is the largest,but there are also problems such as "hollowing out the theme","traveling without learning","de curricular" and so on.At the same time,the earth has entered the human world.Many ecological and environmental problems have made mankind understand that sustainable development should become a global consensus.The starting point and goal of geography research are closely related to sustainable development.It is an important course to cultivate students’ concept of sustainable development.Based on this,this study starts from the geography curriculum standard of high school,focuses on the concept of sustainable development,closely follows the landform content in the geography textbooks of high school,and takes the sustainable development theory,modern curriculum theory and life education theory as the guidance,puts forward the principles,objectives,contents,implementation and evaluation strategies of the geography research travel curriculum design,and studies and designs the high school geography "flowing water landform" research travel curriculum from the perspective of sustainable development,The feasibility of this research course in theory and practice is tested through the research demonstration of senior two students in Nanning No.8 middle school.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)In the survey of the implementation status of geography research travel.By using the methods of literature research and statistical analysis,we know that the practice of geographical research in China is mixed,and the effect of research and education is poor.The main reason is that the travel of geographical research in China started late compared with foreign countries,and is still in the exploration stage.Therefore,it is necessary to standardize the design of geography research travel course and provide guarantee for research practice in theory.(2)In the perspective of sustainable development,high school geography research travel curriculum design principles.In view of the phenomena of "hollowing out the theme","traveling without learning" and "de curriculums" in the research and learning practice,it creatively puts forward the principle of theme clarification(that is,sustainable development runs through the whole research and learning curriculum),the guiding principle of the curriculum standard(that is,implementing the requirements of the curriculum standard for the core quality of geography and the content of teaching materials),the principle of in-depth integration of study and Research(that is,promoting learning by traveling and promoting research by learning)The principle of Nativity(i.e.giving play to the educational value of local materials in the course of Geography Research).(3)In the perspective of sustainable development,high school geography research travel curriculum design strategy.It mainly expounds the process of curriculum design from four aspects: curriculum objectives,content,implementation and evaluation.Among them,in terms of course objectives,through research travel activities,students can realize the unity of geomorphic content knowledge and practice,realize the cognition of the concept of sustainable development,establish the concept of sustainable development,and realize the training requirements of geographical core literacy;In terms of course content,it includes teachers’ on-the-spot teaching of geomorphic content,exploring the relationship between geomorphology and sustainable development,and practical teaching of the concept of sustainable development;In terms of curriculum implementation planning,it includes the preparation stage(preparation of research manual,collection of geographical tools,and outdoor safety education),the implementation stage(teachers’ on-site teaching,students’ study tour and Research),and the summary stage(display,summary and reflection of research results),so as to ensure the orderly development of geography research travel curriculum;In terms of curriculum evaluation,an evaluation system integrating process and finality has been established,which includes accuracy,diversity,operation standardization,knowledge link,teamwork,expression standardization,achievement of sustainable development concept.(4)In case design and demonstration.From the perspective of sustainable development,this paper selects Nanning Laokou water control project as the research point to carry out the case design of "exploring Laokou water landform and studying the comprehensive development of the watershed",and carries out the demonstration of geography research through the senior two students of Nanning No.8 middle school.Practice shows that the principles,objectives,contents,implementation and evaluation of the geography research travel curriculum designed in this study have good results,and can provide reference for the design of the geography research travel curriculum.
