| In the document "Opinions on Strengthening School Sports to Promote the Overall Development of Students’ Physical and Mental Health" promulgated in 2016,the state for the first time proposed "developing students’ core physical education literacy" in the field of sports,thus officially opening the curtain on the educational concept of cultivating and developing students’ core physical education literacy in school sports.General high school is a critical stage for the cultivation and development of students’physical education core literacy,as it is the stage for students to upgrade after the compulsory education stage.Based on the background of cultivating students’ core literacy education reform,constructing a scientific,comprehensive and operable evaluation system of students’ core literacy in general high school is of great practical significance to optimize school physical education,enhance students’ core literacy in physical education,and promote students’ formation of key abilities and characters that can give value to their lifelong development and social development,etc.This paper uses literature research method,Delphi method,survey research method,hierarchical analysis method,mathematical statistics method and other research methods,draws on the theories of comprehensive human development,systematic evaluation theory,basic structure theory of disciplines and symbolic interaction theory and other theoretical foundations,composes relevant domestic and foreign literature and policy documents about core literacy in physical education,and analyzes the connotation and components of core literacy in physical education for students in general high schools.Based on the analysis of the conceptual connotation and components of physical education core literacy of general high school students,the evaluation system of physical education core literacy of general high school students was constructed by combining the results of research interviews and expert questionnaires,and the level and problems of physical education core literacy of general high school students at the present stage were understood through the evaluation study,and the key influencing factors were investigated by using multivariate ordered logistic regression analysis,and the corresponding improvement strategies were proposed.The study shows that.(1)According to the evaluation standard of physical education core literacy,the overall evaluation of physical education core literacy of general high school students is at a passing level:in terms of motor ability,most of the students’ health physical fitness and motor function can reach the grade of passing or above in the national student physical fitness test,some students are not good in motor cognition,and the overall level of students in special sports and motor application ability is not high;in terms of health behavior In terms of health behavior,most students have a poor grasp of basic knowledge and skills to promote health,and their ability to interact with others and be creative needs to be improved;in terms of sports morality,students are generally good,most of them can overcome difficulties in sports and games,follow rules and regulations,play with integrity,respect each other,and have a good sense of responsibility,team spirit and self-esteem and self-confidence.(2)There are six significant factors affecting the physical education core literacy of general high school students:the significant factors affecting students’ motor ability include students’ healthy physical fitness and motor function,motor application ability and motor cognition,and the level of students’ motor ability is the biggest factor affecting their physical education core literacy level;the significant factors affecting students’ health behavior are students’ awareness and habit of physical exercise,physical education and healthy life.The significant factor that affects students’ sports moral is students’ sports emotion.Therefore,the key to enhance the core physical education literacy of general high school students is to break through and develop students’ motor ability as well as the six significant influencing factors.(3)To enhance the core physical education literacy of students in general high schools,school sports should follow the fundamental task of "establishing moral education for people" and update the goal orientation of school sports.Optimize the content of physical education and health courses,promote the thinking and government of physical education courses,consolidate the compulsory and optional physical education courses,and pay attention to health education courses,so as to enhance the overall development of students’ physical education core literacy.Implementing the education concept of "teach,practice and compete",improving the evaluation mechanism of physical education,strengthening the professional ability of physical education teachers,and creating an Internet education resource platform for physical education core literacy are all conducive to promoting the improvement of students’physical education core literacy.(4)The cultivation and development of students’ physical education core literacy in general high schools guide the future direction of school physical education reform and development in general high schools in China,which is the inherent driving result of school physical education reform and the starting point for the state to implement the fundamental task of "establishing moral education for people" in school physical
