| Objective: With the increase of age,the balance ability of the elderly continues to weaken, which will lead to the occurrence of falls and other unexpected situations, and the elderly’s ability to deal with falls and other unexpected situations is insufficient, which will cause serious injuries to the elderly and affect their daily life.In the elderly, falls generally occur during dynamic processes,so dynamic balance is crucial for the elderly. With the further deepening of the aging of population, the health problems of the elderly population and the quality of life have become the focus of social attention. In this paper,22 elderly people were tested for functional intervention for 8 weeks, mainly using literature method, expert interview method, experimental method, mathematical statistics method and other research methods,in order to provide theoretical reference for the training practice of elderly people to improve dynamic balance ability. Methods: 22 elderly people in Shanghai Xinheyuan Apartment for the Aged were selected as the experimental subjects, including 12 in the experimental group(5 males,7 females, age range 75-85,average age 80.17,age standard deviation 4.04).There were 10 subjects in the control group(3 males,7 females, age range 75-85,mean age78.90,age standard deviation 3.84).To study the effect of functional training on the dynamic balance ability of the elderly. The research methods used in this study include literature method, expert interview method, questionnaire method, experimental method and mathematical statistics method.Firstly, through the accumulation of literature and experts’ advice to determine the dynamic balance ability test method, and make a good functional training program.Secondly, subjects were recruited in Xinheyuan Pension Apartment, and baseline tests were carried out before the experiment. The 30 subjects who passed the pre-screening were randomly divided into groups, and the serial numbers of 30 subjects were arranged. The single number was the experimental group, and the double number was the control group, with 15 subjects in each group. The experimental group used functional training intervention and a health education lecture, the control group did not intervene, only a health education lecture to them. Then, the experimental group underwent functional training experiment for 8 weeks, and the experimental intervention was carried out 3 times a week, including two centralized instruction training and one home autonomous training.Finally,double-line test is performed and data is collected.During the training, there were 3 subjects in the experimental group who did not participate in 85% of the training courses and did not participate in the double line test,so they were removed from the experimental group. There were 5subjects in the control group who did not participate in the double line test,so relevant people were removed from the control group. Finally, the data of 12 experimental group and 10 control group were collated.SPSS26.0 software was used for data collation and statistical analysis, and T test was used to compare the difference between the experimental group and the control group,so as to explore the influence of functional training on the dynamic balance ability of the elderly. Results :(1)the experimental group achieved significant improvement in TUG,tug-cognitive and 30 s sitting station test indexes(P < 0.01);The control group showed no significant difference in TUG,TUG-cognitive and 30 s sitting station compared with baseline(P > 0.05).(2)the experimental group in lower limb YBT test indexes after the centre-left outside, left and right front and right rear direction and your feet on the comprehensive value of made a very significant difference(P <0.01),lower limb on the left front direction of YBT test has achieved significant difference(P < 0.05),there is no significant difference between the right rear outer direction of YBT test(P > 0.05);In the control group, there was no significant increase in the six test results of YBT in three different directions and the comprehensive value of both feet(P > 0.05).(3)In the experimental group, the Balance index of Super Balance instrument and the score of international Fall efficacy Scale were significantly different(P < 0.01);In the control group, there was no significant increase in the Balance index of the Super Balance instrument and the score of the International Fall efficacy Scale(P > 0.05).Conclusion :(1)functional training for 8 weeks can enhance the mobility of the elderly.(2)8 weeks of functional training can enhance the lower limb muscle strength of the elderly.(3)Functional training for 8 weeks can improve the control ability of motion and posture in the elderly.(4)8 weeks of functional training can improve the elderly’s attention to falls.(5)Through training intervention, functional training has a good effect on strengthening the dynamic balance ability of the elderly, which also indicates that functional training is a kind of training method suitable for the elderly. |
