| In the teaching of art,the area of ’design applications’ is a very distinctive area of study, and if there is a lack of understanding and exploration of the area of ’design applications’,then the art curriculum will be lost at secondary school. If the ’design applications’ area is not understood and explored in the learning process, then the artistic character of the subject is lost at secondary level. In the current traditional teaching process, the teacher’s overall exploration of the course content is simple, and students lack the time to create art,and there is too much direct teaching of theoretical knowledge in the practical teaching process, neglecting the students’ most direct experience of the ’design application’ field. In order to improve the current state of teaching and learning under the core education concept of quality education,a modular teaching and research model can be adopted. The unit-based teaching and research model is a new pedagogical experiment in which the teacher inspires and nurtures the students, enabling them to investigate in depth as "experts",with the overall teaching objectives as the main focus and the sub-lessons continuing to refine and deepen the teaching sub-objectives,giving full play to the concept of "giving the classroom back to the students" and transforming education. The concept of "giving the classroom back to the students",changing the fixed concept of education, using the independent mode of "cooperative inquiry" to mobilize students’ enthusiasm and cultivate students’ ability to use theory and practice. This is why the author will continue to explore and practise in the actual teaching process on the basis of previous research,in order to further develop students’ artistic literacy skills to the best of my ability. The first chapter introduces the basic theoretical concepts of modular teaching and the interrelationship with the field of ’design applications’.The third chapter is devoted to the implementation of the unit-based teaching and research model in the field of Design Applications at the junior secondary level, and discusses the planning of the teaching curriculum, the implementation of the classroom and the teaching process. The fourth section is about the practical design of the course, which is based on the theme of ’Patterns and Life’,a unit-based research-based curriculum. In this paper, the main methods used are literature review, comparative research, action research and observation and analysis, which are aimed at the use of the modular teaching research model in the practical teaching process. In the actual teaching, the author will also analyse and provide timely feedback based on the students’ learning experience and feelings in the classroom to further confirm that the teaching model is effective. At the same time,I will continue to investigate this topic in depth, hoping to enhance the effectiveness of classroom teaching in the future,so that the arts can be truly implemented in the classroom teaching. |
