With the development of social and economic conditions and the improvement of higher education level,college students,as the main force of the future society in this short and rapid era,face multiple pressures such as study,life and employment,the physical and mental health of college students is not optimistic.Due to the limitations of their cultural knowledge structure and social experience,Thinking is more active,rich in emotion,but it is easy to fall into a pessimistic and negative mental state,easy to appear such as low mood,lack of confidence and other phenomena.According to statistics,among the mental health problems of college students nationwide,the prevalence of various mental disorders reached 19.8%,the number of patients with depression,anxiety,obsessive-compulsive disorder,hypochondriasis accounted for 14.6%,10.4%,8.5% and 9.2%,respectively.The rate of myopia and obesity among college students increased year by year,and chronic diseases appeared at a younger age in recent years.Physical education of universities and universities is an important part of the school’s education system,and it is also an important way to promote students’ physical health and mental health.It plays a very important role in the life and study of college students.At present,the academic community generally believes that there is a close relationship between physical education and physical and mental health,and physical and mental health is a prerequisite for learning and work.The rise of positive psychology can help people find and cultivate good psychological quality,improve students’ positive experience,and enable students to face the pressure brought by life,and actively learn with a good social mentality(such as self-esteem and confidence).Therefore,it is necessary to integrate the concept of positive psychology into the elective courses of Taekwondo and explore its influence on the development of college students’ physical health and positive psychological quality.In this study,76 female sophomores from Taekwondo elective class of Shao guan University were taken as experimental objects.By using the method of literature,questionnaire,teaching experiment and mathematical statistics,combined with the characteristics and teaching content of taekwondo,the positive psychological Quality Scale of Chinese College students and the index of national students’ physical health standard test project were taken as measuring tools.The concept of positive psychology is integrated into Taekwondo teaching in colleges and universities,and the scores of positive mental quality and physical health level development of students in experimental taekwondo teaching class with positive mental quality cultivation and traditional taekwondo teaching control class are written to explore the training effect of taekwondo teaching experiment on positive mental quality and physical health of female college students,and the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Through 16 weeks of taekwondo teaching based on the concept of positive psychology compared with traditional taekwondo teaching,the two kinds of teaching have no significant difference in the development of physical health level of college students;Due to the characteristics of taekwondo sports,these two kinds of teaching have a very significant improvement on the physical fitness of female college students in the seated forward flexion index,a significant improvement on the sit-up index,and a significant improvement on the physical function of the vital capacity index.(2)Compared with traditional taekwondo teaching based on the concept of positive psychology,16-week taekwondo teaching can better promote the development of female college students’ positive psychological qualities of wisdom and knowledge,courage,interpersonal,justice and transcendence,but there is no significant difference between the two kinds of teaching on the development of moderation dimension.(3)The research results show that through the 16-week base under the concept of positive psychology,Taekwondo teaching has improved to the development of 20 factors for female college students’ positive psychological quality.among which the four factors of bravery and persistence,love and friendliness,team spirit,integrity and fairness have the most significant improvement.The eight factors of love of learning,creativity,curiosity,sociability and wisdom,feeling of love,leadership and spiritual touch were significantly improved,while the other factors did not achieve the desired intervention effect.16 weeks of traditional taekwondo teaching has significantly improved the development of 20 positive psychological qualities of female college students,except for bravery and persistence,the other factors have not significantly improved after the experiment.
