Plan" Sports Development Plan of 2021,it was clearly pointed out that the "sports+" project should be vigorously implemented,and the development of sports and tourism integration products should be emphasized.With the help of policy guidance,mass demand,social practice,theoretical research,and other aspects,the development of sports and tourism integration ushered in opportunities,The integration of sports and tourism has become a hot topic in the field of sports industry research.Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is one of the five major minority autonomous regions in China,located in the northwest inland region of China,with rich and colorful sports and tourism resources.In recent years,relying on the Yellow River,desert,mountain and other natural resources,Ningxia has focused on outdoor sports,desert sports and other special sports tourism activities.At the same time,it has rich tourism resources and a strong cultural atmosphere,with Helan Mountain,Western Xia Tombs,the Yellow River,Tengger Desert as its tourism characteristics,The deep integration of sports and tourism will bring vitality to Ningxia’s economic development and urban construction.Research methods:Using methods such as literature review,on-site investigation,interviews,case analysis,and SWOT analysis,this study conducts a thorough analysis of the overall situation of sports and tourism integration in Ningxia and its subordinate prefecture level cities,as well as the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities,and threats of sports and tourism integration in Ningxia.It explores the mode of sports and tourism integration in Ningxia and proposes targeted development strategies.Research results:(1)Advantages: Rich natural and cultural tourism resources,conducive to the development of sports tourism activities;The distinctive ethnic sports culture promotes the development of ethnic sports tourism;The geographical conditions in Ningxia are superior,and the transportation is convenient for tourists to travel.(2)Disadvantages: Single funding source,insufficient funding support for sports and tourism integration;Lack of professional talents,lack of comprehensive talents in sports and tourism;Product project simplification,lack of innovation in sports and tourism integration products;The supporting facilities and public service system for sports tourism are not perfect.(3)Opportunities: Relevant national and local policies have been issued to promote the integrated development of sports and tourism in Ningxia;The awareness of leisure and fitness among the post epidemic population has been awakened,creating momentum for the integration of sports and tourism development;The digital economy and information technology enable the transformation and upgrading of sports and tourism integration.(4)Threats: Unconventional emergencies pose risks to the integration of sports and tourism;Competition in the sports tourism market in surrounding provinces and cities is becoming increasingly fierce;The development of sports tourism integration is unreasonable and damages the local ecological environment.conclusions and recommendations:(1)It is recommended to develop sports and tourism integration projects,products,events,etc.based on resources,markets,themes,products,and cultural elements.(2)Seize policy and regulatory opportunities to further promote the integrated development of sports and tourism.We should continue to play the leading role of the government,improve policies and regulations related to sports and tourism integration,and ensure the development of sports and tourism integration in Ningxia in terms of policies.Expand investment channels for sports and tourism integration,involving multiple entities from the government,society,and market,and increase investment in sports and tourism integration in Ningxia.(3)Utilize the advantages of tourism resources to develop characteristic sports tourism integration projects.Fully explore various sports tourism resources,such as desert sports,mountain sports,river sports,red sports,ethnic sports+tourism,and create high-quality sports tourism projects in the western region.(4)Multi-party collaborative joint cultivation,emphasizing the cultivation of sports and tourism professionals.The first is "internal training",in which colleges and universities in Ningxia jointly cultivate sports and tourism professionals and explore the establishment of sports and tourism majors.The second is "foreign introduction",which vigorously introduces high-end
