"New curriculum Standard" clearly requires: "The learning of basic knowledge and basic skills of music should be organically infiltrated into the aesthetic experience of music art".Music education should take aesthetics as the core,its main purpose is to cultivate students’ musical expression,appreciation,aesthetic ability and creativity.Junior middle school is the stage of in-depth learning of basic music knowledge and basic music skills,and basic music knowledge as the first premise of aesthetic education,more should be paid attention to.Therefore,it is very important to study the current situation of basic music knowledge in junior high school,but there are still many problems in the teaching of basic music knowledge in junior high school at present.How to improve the teaching of basic music knowledge in junior high school and improve the importance of basic music knowledge in junior high school is what music teachers and relevant researchers need to think about.This paper is divided into five parts,with the overall framework as follows:The first part of the introduction,by combing the relevant literature,to junior high school music basic knowledge topic reasons,research significance,research status,research methods,core concept definition,theoretical basis and policy basis are discussed.The second part is the current situation investigation.Four junior high schools in Panyu District were investigated by questionnaire survey and interview,and classroom cases of basic music knowledge were collected.Through the investigation of teachers and students,the teaching status of basic music knowledge in junior high schools was specifically understood.The third part summarizes the problems and analyzes the causes on the basis of the investigation of the current situation,and finds that there are some problems in school management,such as not paying attention to the teaching of basic music knowledge,the lack of teachers in theory,and the non-standard teacher assessment mechanism.In terms of teaching,teachers have some problems,such as incomplete understanding of basic music knowledge points in music textbooks,single and fixed teaching methods,poor use of modern teaching methods,poor instrument assisted teaching,and lack of teaching content testing of basic music knowledge.In the aspect of learning,there are some problems,such as large differences in mastering the basic knowledge of music and lack of learning motivation.The fourth part is based on the above problems,put forward the corresponding countermeasures,such as schools should increase the importance of basic music knowledge,guarantee the teaching time,improve the teacher evaluation mechanism;Teachers should sort out the basic knowledge points of music in the textbooks and innovate teaching methods and means.Teachers can also help students strengthen their own mastery of basic music knowledge by improving students’ learning initiative,so as to promote their own basic music ability level.
