In 2022,the Ministry of Education issued the "Compulsory Education History Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)",which further strengthens the educational orientation of compulsory education history courses and focuses on the cultivation of students’ core competencies.The newly revised compulsory education history curriculum standards emphasize the role of curriculum resources in teaching,and local history resources,as an important component of history curriculum resources,are resources with regional characteristics,contain rich educational factors,and play an important role in secondary school history teaching.Its advantages are mainly reflected in promoting the development of teachers’ profession and stimulating students’ interest in learning history,enriching the history teaching of junior high schools and inheriting excellent local culture,arousing students’ emotional resonance,and cultivating students’ core literacy in the subject.Chishui City is located on the border between northern Guizhou and Sichuan,and has a long history of local human activities during the Neolithic period.There is a river in the territory of Chishui called the Chishui River,running through the three provinces of Sichuan,Qian,and Yunnan is a water and land transportation point known as a throat fortress,Chishui has always been a place where soldiers must fight,and the Ming Dynasty has been fortified here,and there have been many battles in the territory,such as the "Battle of Pingban",the northward march of the trumpet army,the western expedition of the Taiping army and so on.Because of Chishui’s special natural geographical location and cultural environment,the Communist Party of China has left a trail of revolution here,composing a touching and profound red chapter.This paper takes the local history resources of Chishui City as an example to explore how to effectively use the local history resources in the context of the new curriculum standard.This paper is mainly divided into four chapters,the first of which expounds the theoretical basis and necessity of using local history resources from the perspective of pedagogy.The second chapter introduces the relevant principles that should be followed in screening local history resources,on this basis,the local history resources of Chishui City are classified and sorted,and an interspersion point is found in combination with the seventh and eighth grade textbooks of the "History" compiled by the Ministry and related local history resources.Chapter 3 introduces the application of local history resources,discusses both classroom and extracurricular aspects,and lists cases to illustrate.Chapter 4 takes the lesson "Long March of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army" in the eighth-grade history textbook as an example,integrates the local history resources of Chishui City into the teaching design and teaching reflection.
