| The mental health of rural left-behind children has always been the focus of the country and society.Therefore,government departments and social organizations have taken many positive measures to improve the mental health of rural left-behind children.With the rapid development of positive psychology,people have gradually realized the important role of their own positive qualities in personal physical and mental development,which also provides a new perspective for improving the mental health of rural left-behind children.As a new concept of positive psychology,self-compassion has been proved to have a positive role in eliminating negative emotions,improving psychological strength and improving mental health problems.However,in the relevant research on the mental health problems of rural left-behind children,there are not many relevant documents on the level of self-compassion of rural left-behind children.Based on this,this study,on the basis of exploring the current situation of self-compassion of rural left-behind children,studies the impact of fun in athletics intervention on the self-compassion level of rural left-behind children,and provides new theoretical support for the psychological health intervention of rural left-behind childrenResearch methods: This study uses the methods of literature,expert interviews,questionnaires,experiments and mathematical statistics to explore the effect of fun in athletics intervention on the level of self-compassion of rural left-behind children.Through the method of literature,the author systematically grasped the domestic and foreign research on self-compassion,rural left-behind children and fun in athletics,which laid a solid theoretical foundation for the research;The expert interview method was used to inquire about the feasibility of the study,the rationality of the experimental design and the selection of the experimental intervention content,and the research ideas and overall design were improved according to the expert feedback;120 subjects were selected by questionnaire and divided into groups without difference.Both the experimental group and the control group had 60 subjects,including 30 boys and 30 girls.The self-compassion level of the experimental group and the control group’s rural left-behind children was measured before and after the Chinese version of the self-compassion scale;Using the experimental method,the experimental subjects were intervened for 12 weeks.The experimental group took fun in athletics as the intervention means,while the control group carried out routine physical education;The experimental data collected by the research institute were statistically analyzed using SPSS23.0 statistical software.Research conclusions:(1)The level of self-compassion of rural left-behind children was significantly lower than that of non-left-behind children;the level of self-compassion of female rural left-behind children was significantly lower than that of male rural left-behind children;the level of self-compassion of rural left-behind children with one parent away from home was significantly higher than that of rural left-behind children with two parents away from home.(2)The fun in athletics intervention had a significant effect on the self-compassion level of rural left-behind children,which was not only reflected in the increase of the total self-compassion score of rural left-behind children,but also in the six dimensions of self-kindness,self-judgment,universal sense of humanity,isolation,positive thinking and over-indulgence included in self-compassion.(3)The fun in athletics intervention had a highly significant contribution to the total score and six dimensions of self-compassion for male and female rural left-behind children,as well as for rural left-behind children with both parents away and single parents away;regular physical education had a significant contribution to the level of self-compassion for male rural left-behind children,and to the level of self-compassion for female rural left-behind children,rural left-behind children with both parents away,and rural left-behind children with single parents away.The intervention effect was not statistically significant.(4)There was a significant difference in the intervention effect of fun in athletics on the self-compassion level of male and female rural left-behind children,but this difference was only reflected in the total self-compassion score,and there was no significant difference in the six dimensions of self-compassion;there was no significant difference in the intervention effect on the self-compassion level of rural left-behind children with both parents away from home and those with only one parent away from home.(5)Although there was no statistically significant effect of regular physical education on the level of self-compassion of rural left-behind children,it had a highly significant inhibitory effect on the self-judgment dimension of self-compassion and a highly significant facilitative effect on the isolation dimension. |
