| The General Office of the State Council issued the Outline of Building a powerful country in Sports and put forward that "it is an important content of school physical education to promote the improvement of physical literacy and the development of a healthy life among young people." At the national level,for the first time,the promotion of young people’s physical literacy has been explicitly stated,and the concept is regarded as the cornerstone of building a strong sports nation.Physical literacy consists of four dimensions: physical ability,daily behavior,motivation and confidence,and knowledge and understanding.In April 2022,the Ministry of Education issued the Curriculum Standards of Physical Education and Health for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition),emphasizing the cultivation of students’ "core literacy of physical education",which is specifically implemented in the physical education class of schools.The core literacy of physical education is essentially the same as physical literacy.In order to develop students’ "literacy",Professor Ji Liu put forward the "Chinese healthy Physical education Curriculum Model" based on the core literacy of physical education and health discipline,and pointed out that in the process of physical education teaching,the teaching emphasis should be on physical exercise,exercise load and exercise skills.Physical exercise should be carried out for about 10 minutes in every physical education class,and the means and ways of physical exercise should be emphasized.The requirements are colorful and interesting,which can arouse students’ enthusiasm for practice.The physical movement function training is regarded as an effective measure to improve the physical quality.Therefore,this thesis tries to create functional sports games in line with physical and mental characteristics of primary school students in physical training,so as to effectively improve the level of students’ physical literacy.Eighty students in grade 5 of Zhiyuan Primary School in Jinan City were selected as experimental objects by the method of literature,questionnaire,teaching experiment and mathematical statistics,and the CAPL-2 assessment system was used as the physical literacy assessment tool to conduct a 16-week teaching experiment to explore the influence of functional sports games on primary school students’ physical literacy and its mechanism.It is expected to provide valuable practical experience for promoting the reform of physical education and health curriculum in primary schools and the in-depth development of Chinese physical education curriculum model.Through comparative analysis of the experimental data,the following conclusions are obtained:(1)In terms of the total dimension of physical literacy,the improvement of the physical literacy level of students in the experimental group before and after intervention was higher than that of the control group,showing a very significant difference(Sig.< 0.01).Compared with traditional physical fitness exercises,functional sports games can improve the physical literacy level of students.According to the classification of male and female students,before and after intervention,the improvement of physical literacy level of male and female students in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group,and functional sports games had a greater impact on female students.(2)In terms of physical ability,the improvement of physical ability of students in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group before and after the intervention,showing a very significant difference(Sig.< 0.01).Compared with traditional physical fitness exercises,functional sports games have more advantages in improving students’ physical activity ability.According to the classification analysis of male and female students,after intervention,the improvement of physical ability of male and female students in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group,and functional sports games had a greater impact on female students.(3)In terms of the dimension of daily behavior,there was no significant difference in the overall level of daily behavior of students in the experimental group before and after intervention(Sig.> 0.05),but the mean total score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,indicating that functional sports games were more conducive to students developing the habit of independent physical activities than traditional physical fitness exercises.According to the analysis of the classification of male and female students,before and after intervention,the average daily behavior of male and female students in the experimental group increased more than that in the control group,and the girls in the experimental group showed a significant difference(Sig.< 0.01).(4)In terms of knowledge and understanding dimension,there was no significant difference in the knowledge and understanding level of students in the experimental group before and after intervention(Sig.> 0.05),but the average score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,indicating that functional sports games can enrich students’ sports knowledge and improve their cognitive level to some extent compared with traditional physical fitness exercises.According to the classification analysis of male and female students,the improvement of knowledge and understanding of male and female students in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group after intervention,and functional sports games had a greater impact on female students.(5)In terms of motivation and confidence dimension,the improvement of motivation and confidence of students in the experimental group before and after intervention was higher than that of the control group,showing a very significant difference(Sig.< 0.01).Compared with traditional physical fitness exercises,functional sports games can stimulate students’ intrinsic motivation,improve their learning interest and confidence.According to the classification analysis of male and female students,after intervention,the improvement of vividness and confidence of both sexes in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group,and functional sports games had a greater impact on girls. |
