| The new version of the History Curriculum Standard for Ordinary High School defines the core quality of history as five elements: historical materialism,space-time concept,historical evidence,historical interpretation,and family and country feel.The family and country feelings quality is the belief system in the core quality system of history,which plays a vital role in cultivating students’ world outlook,outlook on life,and values.Cultivating national sentiment and literacy is cultivating students’ emotions towards national prosperity and people’s happiness and a high sense of identity,belonging,mission,and responsibility towards the country.By cultivating patriotism and literacy,students can gain a deeper understanding of China’s excellent traditional culture,experience the spirit of the Chinese nation,and enrich their spiritual world,thereby guiding them to establish patriotism and national confidence.Therefore,high school history teaching must attach importance to cultivating patriotism and literacy.Based on the theory of reading activities and relevant theories of high school history teaching,this article uses literature review,case analysis,and questionnaire survey methods to offer activity classes with reading as the theme.It delves into strategies for implementing national sentiment literacy in activity classes.Firstly,it provides an overview of the reasons for selecting the topic,the significance of the research,and the current research status of cultivating national sentiment and literacy;Secondly,in order to further understand the current situation of cultivating national emotional literacy,a survey questionnaire was developed for high school teachers and students,explaining the significance of national emotional literacy and the problems that exist in the implementation process;Finally,in response to the problems that arise during the implementation process,following the principles of integrity,a path and corresponding cases for implementing national sentiment literacy in reading activity classes have been developed.By conducting reading activity classes to cultivate students’ sense of patriotism and literacy,not only can students develop reading habits but also promote a deeper understanding of the content in books,feel the spirit of the people’s unremitting efforts to fight for the country at that time,enrich students’ emotional world,enhance their sense of national unity,and deepen their love for the motherland.Therefore,in high school history teaching,attention should be paid to developing reading activity classes and cultivating patriotism and literacy. |
