Educational ecology is a science that uses the position,principles and methods of ecology to study various educational phenomena and problems and their causes,so as to grasp the objective laws of educational development and reveal the development trend of education.Kindergarten social field curriculum refers to kindergarten education that is specifically aimed at developing children’s sociality,enhancing children’s social cognition,stimulating children’s social emotions and guiding children’s social behavior.Based on the historical orientation of the new era,it is important to explore the basic connotation of educational ecology and the basic principles and laws of educational ecology to study the design of kindergarten social domain curriculum.Based on the research perspective of educational ecology,the researcher analyzed the current status of kindergarten social domain curriculum design through a questionnaire survey of 300 front-line teachers in fourteen kindergartens in six cities in three provinces.Based on the questionnaire survey,the researcher interviewed four representative teachers on the basis of a preliminary grasp of the current situation of kindergarten curriculum design in the social domain.The survey found that the problems of kindergarten social domain curriculum design are mainly manifested in the marginalization of kindergarten social domain curriculum,the deviation of kindergarten social domain curriculum design concept,the lack of realistic connection of social domain curriculum content,the single educational approach and method of social domain curriculum,and the difficulty of stimulating children’s interest in social domain curriculum.The problems of the kindergarten social area curriculum are directly addressed,and the causes of the problems are explored in depth,including the specificity of the kindergarten social area itself,the lack of ecological education concept of educators,and the utilitarian value orientation of early childhood education.From the perspective of educational ecology,the researcher proposes a series of ideas and countermeasures to improve the quality of kindergarten social area curriculum design,such as highlighting the importance of ecological social area curriculum,establishing the concept of "ecological integration" curriculum design and improving related contents,and building an ecological education paradigm for social area curriculum,in response to the real dilemma of kindergarten social area curriculum design.
